  1. Lookin great Chad!! Like you said, it really needs a good coat of flat clear to get rid of the shine. I would suggest some more light gray and tan (very thin) misted over it as well to make it a little more dirty. That Pete is pretty sweet too!!
  2. Yeah Harry, those are all ok but you forgot the most important thing..............Tang!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What we all do if we didn't have Tang???????
  3. Looks like you were able to get the colors really close. I have several sets but I'm not happy with the shades of blue that were used. I'm wanting to get the mules and numbers/names printed separately so I can paint the stripes the correct colors.
  4. Droooool, slobber, slobber............I mean.oh really....this should be fun!
  5. Cool, thanks Jeff and Tom!!!!!!!!
  6. I have several parts that I have bought at local shows that were made by Perry's and they are nice but after the last order I placed taking over two months with nothing but excuses and lies, I got my money back through my credit card and vow to never order from him again!
  7. Very nice Jeff!!!!!! Are you not going to offer the front bumper or was it just not ready yet? Any idea on a price yet? I checked your site but didn't see it?
  8. Lots of patience and decal setting solution. After they dry real good, chip them up a bit and weather over them as well.
  9. Man, that is a gorgeous build of that kit!!!!!! How much did you stretch the chassis?
  10. Hmm, that's a.............interesting.............um....................truck? That old saying of putting lipstick on a pig or in this case, lipstick, a fancy dress and high heels, comes to mind. LOL
  11. Paint the container with shades of rust, browns and tans and then either do the salt trick where you sprinkle salt on the surface to "mask" tiny spots or you can paint tiny specks of rubber cement instead. Ater that dries, paint the container the color you want it to be. When dry, rub of the salt or rubber cement and you'll have lots of "paint chipped areas" Then you can further weather the container using very thinned out gray and tan paint lightly misted on. You can also use a flat aluminum or silver and very lightly dry brush areas where the container would make contact with other things and around the rear doors, etc.
  12. Cool, but I have to ask , Nick, you drive a pickup. Why didn't you put the smelly trash in the bed??? LOL
  13. Wow, nice work and great results!!!!!!
  14. Very nice!!!!!!! It's a shame you didn't have it cast into resin!
  15. I always wanted to build the Goblin WS and I had a good friend that was a master, monster model maker. He even sold kits that he created all over the world. I was going to have him make the goblin face for me but I never got around to asking him and he ended up passing away. The real head itself is still around. Three were made. There's an article about it online that tells about it.
  16. ZAWEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They need to change it from "America's got talent" to "Bill's got all the talent!!!!!
  17. LOL, Great minds think alike! Are you going to "weather" it with the blood stains and all? Can't wait to see it finished!
  18. Wow Tony, that's nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. That's really cool!!!!!! It would look perfect in from of the AMT Haulaway trailer!
  20. I have two of those Dodge conversion kits that were done by Tom Coolidge. If that's the ones that have the worn out mold, then there is another caster making their own version but I forget who. I thnk it might be the ModelHaus? I have to chack. I remember that it comes with the pickup bed. I am waiting for a friend to finish mastering those Snake and Mongoose hauler beds. I believe he's going to offer them as resin and plastic kits.
  21. Wow! Nice job! Keep her intersted, we need more kids in this hobby!
  22. Hotwheels made that little one????? I've never seen that? Do you know about what year they produced it?
  23. Reminds me of that wrecker in Maximum Overdrive that tries to kill Curtis!
