  1. Oooooh, muuuuch better! Nice job!!!!!!!!! I need to get some of those. Are you selling them? These are still 1/24 right? You have not converted them down to 1/25? I am wanting these for 1/25 builds, which wouldn't be a problem as I could machine the current trim ring off and machine a smaller one from aluminum.
  2. Thanks Guys, I appreciate all the info!!!
  3. Those pics really help Roger, thank you! It does actually look more like a Mopar wheel than a Chevy truck rally wheel? You don't by chance, have a smaller, 1/25 trim ring you could set on it to see how that would look? Thanks again for posting those pics!
  4. Hi Fabrizio, I'm actually needing pics of a Chevy truck rally wheel. That type of rally you posted was found on Camaros, Corvettes, Novas, etc. Thank you though!
  5. Oooh, I wasn't aware that kit had 1/25 rallies in it??? Do you have any pics??????
  6. Does anyone have a close up picture of the Rally wheels found in any of the Chevy pickup kits? I want to see if I can machine a new ring and convert it to 1/25. This is the real wheel I want to accurately replicate in 1/25. All I need is a center portion with the tiny slots. I can machine the "ring" portion of the wheel out of aluminum. Shown here are the two wheel drive version (the five lug) and the four wheel drive version (with six lugs.)
  7. I have one here that I built years ago. Michaels had it on a sidewalk sale for only 10.00! There's a bunch of working features! The front bogie steers, all suspensions articulate, the missile cradle raises and lowers, landing gear on the trailer raises and lowers and the cab doors open. The only thing I have left to do on mine is put the decals on, if they're still good? I'll probably start watching for a new set. It's a really cool model and was really fun to build!
  8. I still would like to see a picture of that other 1/24 Hotwheels Mustang (unless it's the Legends Shelby, I've seen that) if anyone has one?
  9. Well, right off you can tell the guy wasn't too bright. He punches his own VIN tag and faces the raised letters inward instead of outward!
  10. What did you use for those Rally wheels on your Blazer model?
  11. Make sure you check the obvious like inside the car or in the box. You never know!
  12. Thanks for all the info guys! I used the word "Exacto" in my title in case some out there did not know what a "#11" blade was. Just a way to help them relate what I'm referring too.
  13. Actually the Model Master blades are much better than the Exacto brand. Hospitals and such use these blades also and you can get them in bigger quantities for less money. I'm just trying to find the places that sell them like that.
  14. Hey Jonathan. I saw that. I was just curious as to what kind of bed it was. I thought someone may have finally mastered a nice Century or Miller type bed.
  15. Got a link or a picture?
  16. So far I've found that the Model Master blades are the sharpest. Does anyone know of a better source for better blades at a good price?
  17. Thanks Tim, the engine is painted with Tamiya XF-55 Deck Tan and the transmission was sprayed with red primer. Everything was very lightly dry brushed with silver and then a thinned black wash added.
  18. I still feel bad mentioning it but he had done such a nice job so far, I just thought it would be shame to leave that seam there.
  19. Hey Mike, Microscale Industries makes pinstriping decals in all kinds of colors in several widths. They're real thin and if you clear over them they blend right in with the paint.
  20. Wow Chris, I never knew you were going through all that!!!! It's really great to hear that your getting better!!!!!!!!! Stay positive, sounds like things are going to keep getting better!!!
  21. I also edited my original post to state what I actually meant. This is the first 1/24 Hotwheels car (that I'm aware of) that replicates the original early models of Hotwheels cars that were 1/64 scale. There are many other 1/24 cars made by Hotwheels in other lines such as Legends, etc. but I am pretty sure this is the first 1/24 "Hotwheels" car with Redline tires and the same type of wheels used on the originals.
  22. I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong, if I am but I have searched Ebay, Google and I asked on the Hotwheels forum and nobody has heard of one. There's no pics that I could find either? I would love to see a pic if you know where there is one?
  23. I have the blue one that's on the trailer along with it's 1/64 twin.
  24. Yeah, I heard about it on the radio a little while ago. It's sad when we lose someone so familiar.
