That's one of my most favorite car kits! I am curently building a yellow Monroe Handler just like the box art but I've made several upgrades including real machined Centerline wheels including the spare in the hatchback area. You can see the pics here:

OOOOOOOOOOH, man am I glad I stumbled onto this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a truck I have always wanted a model of!!! Tom is an incredible scratch builder so I know that master has to be really awesome!!!!!!!! PLEASE keep us posted as to the release!!!!!!
What paint did you use on that chassis? I talked with Dino at Western Distributing and got the paint code they use. I had some paint mixed up but I haven't sprayed any yet. Yours looks really good!
That has to be the coolest video I have ever seen! I can't believe this band has been around since 2004 and I've never heard of them! I like the song! They have a bunch of other good songs as well!
That seems to be a new trend on Ebay. Taking kits, and selling them a few pieces at a time. I hope nobody is foolish enough to pay those prices when they can usually buy the entire kit for the same price or a couple bucks more! Just another sad example of greed ruining the world!
You can either strip the old parts of the plating they currently have and then paint them with Alclad chrome paint or you can mount the parts to "trees" made from coat hanger wire and send them to either Chrome Tech or The Little Motor Kar Co. and they will replate the parts for you.
You've done an excellent job building those kits!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been thinking about getting one or two of those. The detail on the parts is very crisp. It's too bad they don't have the full engine detail.
There has actually been several "Tractor Pull" type models produced. There was the Blazing Bison tractor, the Tennesee Thunder funny car puller, the Pulldozer truck and the Orange Blossom Special pulling truck.
Sooooo sorry to hear of your loss. I can more than understand. I'm a huge animal lover and my cats mean the world to me! One of my female cats has been battling cancer for several years now. I had to pay 1500.00 for them to operate and remove the cancer from the right side of her chest area. Now the cancer has come back on her left side and it's going to cost me 950.00 more to remove that with no guarantee's that she'll survive the surgery or have the cancer just come back again. It's only money, I can make more but she's irreplaceable!
I made a mistake in my original post here. It's First Gear that makes a really nice 1/64 truck on par with the DCP trucks, not Revell. I have too many toys! I can't remember who makes what! LOL
Thanks for all the info guys! I had never sen these before and thought I stumbled onto a really cool kit. Sounds like it was just an attempt by MPC to get rid of existing Trans Am promos and kits.
