  1. I don't remember them ever making a Boss Hoss in any other scale and certainly not in this fashion with this type of wheel and mounted in a blister pack? I've been a Hotwheels collector since day one. I have the Merc that came in the two car set. I think that was the first 1/24 car they offered.
  2. A fabricator is one who builds from scratch. Therefor they mean the same thing. I would consider myself a fabricator of both real vehicles and models.
  3. For those interested, they are still available. You just have to register on Hotwheels.com. It's free to register.
  4. Actually, mine is # 1654 of 2000. I meant this is the first 1/24 Hotwheel modeled after an original 1/64 version they made.
  5. Wasn't impressed, saaaaaame tiiiiiiired story, once again! They'll never learn!
  6. I just received this from Mattel. It's the first 1/24 Hotwheels car modeled after the original 1/64 version! The Boss Hoss. The car is all plastic but unless you pick it up, you can't tell! As you can see in the pics, it's mounted on a full size blister pack and that is sealed in a full size Protecto Pak. I paid a total of 40.30 for the car with shipping, tax and so on. Not sure if they are going to make more but this one is cool!!!!
  7. Cool! Glad to hear it! I left a job I absolutely hated and the boss was trying to cripple me back on the 5th. I hope I find something better soon!
  8. LOL, I had one on there! It fell off. You can see it in my avatar. I didn't notice it until I took these pics. I think one of the sheets I got from you has them. I just need to put one back on.
  9. Thanks guys! I apreciate the kind words!
  10. Were the kits in boxes or built? I have always hoped to see them find a big toy or model stash and see what they find! There's a show called "Toy Hunter" as well which is the same premise but he only searches for toys. I only watched one time! Very bad! The guy "finds" a super rare Bobaphet (hope that's spelled correctly?) Star wars figure that was a prototype. He tells the guy "oh my god!!! Do you know what this is worth???? I could sell this for twenty thousand dollars!!!" Then he asks the guy...."how much do you want for it?".......REALLY????? Your gonna tell him what's it's worth and then ask what he wants for it???? Supposedly, later in the program they were at a comic show and some sucke............uh....victim..........buyer bought it for 17,000.
  11. Your in luck! Leo here in the forum just recently started casting a day cab! You can see my 110" cab master in my Fotki in the album titled "Some cab masters". Eric (Porky) here in the forum casts and sells them. www.public.fotki.com/lotso
  12. LOL, don't put anything down, your doin great! Thank you for the compliment!!
  13. I was kind of worried when I was making that cab as to how builders would get the parts needed to build a truck with it. I knew the previous issues were getting good money! It's great to know it will be more afforable now!
  14. Thank you Dave, I've cleaned all the parts for the 1693 but I have not built it yet. It's going to get the full detail treatment as well! I've been saving pics for reference in detailing it.
  15. Thank you Dave! I appreciate that!
  16. Man!!! That was a race!!!!!!!!!!
  17. I was originally going to put this Cummins in my Smokey and the Bandit Kenworth that I was working on but now that I have a really nice resin kitty kat 1693 to put in it, this Cummins will go into a Kenworth cabover that I am building right now. I just redid the intake side of the turbo and crossover pipe to the aftercooler this morning. For those intersted, the fuel and oil filter decals can be purchased from Kurt McLucas here in the forum. They're really nice!
  18. Oh ha ha! LOL The trailer is already built. Jamie Rahmoeller built it several years ago. I felt it was deserving of a much nicer suspension and wheels so it sat until I got my ten holes plated to put on it. All I have to do is put the suspensions on, the mudflaps on and the tool box back on. Oh and I need to machine a king pin for it.
  19. Thanks again! Wait until you see the trailer the suspensions are going on!!!!!!!!
  20. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL cheap donor kits for the 110" cab I mastered!!!!!!
  21. I agree! I enjoy his show and he's helping to promote model building!
