Very nice work so far!!! You should have that bed cast into resin once you get it perfect! There's lots of people looking for a nice long bed like that! If you get it copied, you'll end up with copies yourself for future projects! I'm sure there are a few great resin casters in the group here that would cast it for you.

I really wanted to join this thread but for the life of me, I can't think of any existing or pre existing kit that I have ever wanted and don't currently have or have had. I have the Renwal Chassis kits, a few 1/12 Mean Mavericks, I had a mint 1/12 Super Digger dragster but sold it. I guess there's a few kits I've sold and would like to have back. Then I thought about it. I'm actually having my holy grail "kit" made right now!!!! I am making a resin master and I'm having a custom box profesionally made to go with it! It will be a model that I've wanted all my life!!!!!!! That's all I can say right now!

Has anyone found a good source for replacing the plastic molded coil spring with metal springs?

Very cool!!!!! I remember building a Ford pickup like that yeeeeaaars ago before the Orange Blossom kit ever came out. I had to use four slicks as nobody had tires like those Cepek puller tires. I still thought it was cool though!

AFX-n-Scale Resin did an awesome set that had everything needed to make it like when the Interceptor first rolled out of the garage. The pieces are flawless!!!!! They look like white styrene! Fit like a glove as well.
