    Got this 1970 Road Runner completed yesterday. Used Tru-Color rasberry pearl covered in a couple coats of Nason 2 part urethane clear. Wheels/tires are from a '58 Corvette kit. I took some aluminum tubing and squashed in a vice to make the oval exhaust pipes. Not bad but need to experiment more.

    I'm pretty sure he was Tobor originally. I can't remember the movie that he made his debut in - maybe Tobor the Great? Googled it and it is Tobor the Great from 1954.

    Mine are in Carney Plastics cases. I have 4 and each holds 24 builds. Also have a revolving display case from some going out of business department store that also holds 24 builds. None of them are full because I trade builds for kits and/or sell them.
