OK. I can understand that. I've built 4 or 5 1970 Road Runners and still have 4 in the stash. I just love those RRs. -

Normal for me is 1/24 or 1/25 but occasionally I'll build a 1/12 chopper.

We went out to Washington, DC to spend Veterans Day at The Wall and partake in the reading of the 58,318 names on The Wall. It was cold and windy. We're happy to be home in warm Florida. Oh. we stopped at Portillo's near USF on the way home from the Tampa airport.

We actually had snow about 5 or 6 years ago. It wasn't much and didn't last long. The little kids were able to get enough snow off windshields to make snowmen. They were only 5 or 6 inches tall though.

Beautiful, SHINY paint, and nice details. What kind of paint(s) did you use? Source of the flame stencil?

I use a Nikon Coolpix L310 camera. It has a zoom knob on top and that's the only button I use other than the picture taking button and on/off. I sure don't know about all this aperture, F stop, or other weird things.

I am a Marine. No, not in the Marines, I am a Marine. Vietnam 1969-70. Attended the dedication of The Wall in 1982. This year is the 35th anniversary of The Wall and I 'll be there again. Actually, this will be my 33rd year being there. All 58, 318 names will be read out loud right in front of The Wall. I the list of 30 names I was provided on November 10, 2017 at 3:08pm. The officials don't know it and it'll be too late afterwards to stop me, but I'm really going to read 31 names. After completing the 30 assigned names I will recite "my high school friend, Peter Steven Tyrka".

Going so deep must be because of cold and the ground heaving. Is your model area going to be on the second floor? Will you continue to send pics after completion? Please?

That's what happened when my shop went up. Did it the same way in Illinois.

Interesting. I'm not a construction type person of any kind and was just wondering. I would think the concrete mix would go all over the inside walls pouring it afterwards. Sure is a neat looking garage though.
