  1. Stay a kid as long as you can, Andy. Time goes by so fast, you'll be old before you know it.
  2. Very interesting. Rick over at Scale Dreams must love you for that order. Who did you order the rear end from? I've been looking for a couple but can't find any.
  3. Check out Ma's Resin. Alan might have them.
  4. Good looking ride.
  5. One million dollars and the guy still wants postage money. The Brat could be a fun build for $10.00.
  6. Welcome, Rob. Lots and lots of interesting things going on here.
  7. I second what Zoom Zoom said.
  8. Hey Brian - I bet it feels good to build that nice a model. I love the details you put into it.
  9. I'll usually spend 3-4 hours a day in the hobby room.
  10. Welcome, Mike. Lots of good stuff going on here.
  11. You mean this ANDY'S person is the Ebay seller of that high priced kit?
  12. Looking mighty fine, Don. I love purple and I love shiny paint. You have both!!!
  13. I don't have the DVD, but you might ask Donn Yost if wiring is coved on his video. http://www.oldmansmodels.com/
  14. I glue them on solid. No rolling.
  15. Somebody had a TR4A IRS when I was in college and I wanted one. Never got it. Nice looking cars.
  16. My hobby room is in a steel building 50 or 60 feet from the house. Marcia very rarely comes out to the shop, so I'm more or less on my own. I have my income and she has hers so there's never a problem of me spending however much I feel like spending on my hobby. Only completed kits go into the house and I usually show my wife the build. She usually rolls her eyes. Marcia is not and never has been a car person. She's planning on attending the SE street rod nationals and model car show in October with me. She found out there's a shopping mall nearby.
  17. I checked - yup. It's 1/16" Evergreen rod #222.
  18. The kit suspenssion I file flat and drill a 1/16" hole. Glue in a piece of 1/16" Evergreen rod. I normally use Tenax for that. Let dry. Cut the rod to length. Sometimes the stub in the middle of the Pegasus wheel needs to be shortened to fit under the wheelwheels. I use a Dremel tool for that portion. When haappy with the offset, glue the wheel to the Evergreen stub. I'm pretty sure it's 1/16" Evergreen, but would have to check for sure. The size I use fits the Pegasus wheels just perfect.
  19. Looks like another interesting build.
  20. Nice ride.

Sweet looking ride, Lee. Did you get the chassis situated correctly? It appears that the body is sitting too high off the chassis.
  22. Wal-Marts here have an online shopping option. Order & pay online and they ship to the store for free. Maybe you could get it that way.
  23. All righty then. We have 1 person with a smile. How about the rest of you? It doesn't take much and you'll feel better too! Try it. You'll like it. Just as a reminder - it's Friday and almost time for the pool, pizza, popcorn, and WWE Friday Night Smackdown. Goodnight until tomorrow.
  24. Me again, Bill. I checked my computer in the house and that little gear is there. I'm going to ask Marcia to look at it and try to figure it out for me.
