I thought I covered the 40% coupon, but thanks for doing again, Eelco.
Being closed Sunday is fine with me. I'm not exactly a religous person but it's prety cool that a corporation would do that for their people. Chik-a-fil or whateve the name is, does the same thing. Sunday is a heavy shopping day in Ocala and I try to stay away from them, prefering to go during the week. Seems to be less of a crowd.
We have a 60% chance of needed rain tomorrow. That might delay my trip to the big city until Tuesday. My truck is clean and I don't want to get it dirty.
No George - I said volunteer. They can fire you if they didn't hire you. A voluntary advisor type of person. The plan being if they carried more and a larger variety of kits, they would sell more.
Maybe you should try to volunteer to help her out, George.
My HL usually has quite a bit of stock but it's the same kits all the time. 30% off is still 30% so i plan to drive up there to check it out. I'll be stopping at Michaels and the LHS along the way.
Through April 2, 2011 Hobby Lobby is having a 30% discount on all their plastic & die cast model kits. That would bring their high prices down to an acceptable level. There's also a 40% off any one item coupon available for any regular priced item.
TCP Global is excellent with shipping also and they ship to me in FLA, Dr. Cranky. I've been buying from them but last time I was checking prices, I'm pretty sure Coast had cheaper prices. I'll probably try them next.
What do you think of these 2 ideas? Got a '37 Ford primered in Plast-i-kote black sandable primer and plan to shoot HOK wild cherry over the black and then a coat of two of Tamiya pearl clear coat.
The second one is a '36 Ford with grey sandable Plast-i-kote primer. Planning to shoot a base coat of HOK lapis blue followed by some coats of HOK oriental blue.
Do you think those plans will work? My HOK is all pre-mixed.
Tom - did you check TCP Global and/or Coast Airbrush? I've been buying the pre-mixed 2 oz. bottles from TCP but I believe Coast has the same items for $1.00 per bottle cheaper.
Oh what the heck. I met Natalya at O'Hare airport in Chicago last year. I'm in the middle and have no idea who the guy on the is. Probably some pervert.
I use - Tamiya paint stand, coat hangers, popsicle sticks, alligator clips, pipe, pill bottles, or whatever else I have handy that will hold the parts.
Gotta take care of yourself first, Ed. Dioramas can wait until you're well.
And Johnny - take a look at your VA card. If it says "Service Connected" under your picture, you're probably covered for everything. You might want to talk with a benefits service officer.
