  1. There will be plenty of Veterans at the service Saturday. If the church group shows up, we will make sure they never get close to the family and that the family will not see or hear them - whatever it takes. I'm hoping to be allowed time tomorrow to recite the "North Wall Words" to Cpl. Turner's Mom & Dad. I would use our customized version from the Canadien Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I think the words are the best way to explain to a family on a warrior feels about the passing of one of our own. As long as we live, your son Jonathan, shall be loved. As long as we live, your son Jonathan, shall be remembered. As long as we live, your son jonathan, shall live.
  2. I don't spend the big bucks for the aluminums rims available but Scale Dreams carries Pegasus wheels/tires as does Hobbylinc. Ma's Resin also has some wheels and fantasic tires.
  3. Looks terrific.
  4. What a fantastic tribute to Cpl. Taylor. There were probably 400 bikes and thousands of people lined the route holding American flags and/or saluting. At one point a fire truck had its' ladder way up in the air with a huge American flag flying. The procession literally closed reaffic in Citrus County for 2 hours! Cars & trucks in the opposite lane all pulled over and became spectators. It was a wonderful salute to a Fallen Hero and I'm very happy and proud to have been a part of it.
  5. Whoa! That looks good and I'll keep watching.
  6. Oh yeah. I'd like to see a tutorial too.
  7. MCM does not come in an envelope or plastic cover - just the mag with a label on it. I've a subscriber for a few months and each issue has arrived in pristine condition, so far. Other MCM subscribers have complained about getting ripped & torn issues. If that happens, you can call the printer and request a replacement copy.
  8. Cpl. Jonathan Turner USMC was killed in Afghanistan on February 22, 2011 by an IED. Today he will be flown into Brooksville airport and escorted by an "unknown number of motorcyclists to Wilder Funeral Home in Homosassa. Saturday will be a memorial service at Lecanto High School where Taylor graduated in 2006. I plan on being part of the escort today and again on Saturday. All the schools in the County will be closing early. Citrus County has about 125,000 people. Cpl. Taylor is our 6th Fallen Hero in this War on Terror. Please consider taking a moment to remember Cpl. Jonathan Taylor USMC. The cost of freedom is NOT free!
  9. I'm liking that puppy.
  10. Got some work going on. I'm gonna keep watching.
  11. And I believe Model Car Garage is having a 15% discount sale right now.
  12. Holy cow!! Hope your basements don't flood if you have them.
  13. I wonder if the $1000.00 price tag included free shipping.
  14. Super looking build. Nice job.
  15. I must be cheap. There's no way I would pay $1000.00 for a model of anything. I feel bad paying $20.00 for a kit. I'm going up to Ocala today and will be stopping at Rob's Hobby World, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels in Ocala on the way home. I need some supplies. I'm also a smoker who uses a little machine to roll my own so that it costs me about $0.90 for a pack.
  16. You live on a street or a canal? Is all that water from the snow melting?
  17. It's looking good even without the clear, Mike. Can't wait to see it completed.
  18. Interesting, Don. This may sound dumb, but what's a blog?
  19. Great looking work/display area. Enjoy it!
  20. I use the Plast-I-coat brand of sandable primers.
  21. I'm not a builder of big trucks, but this looks interesting.
  22. I've never done that, but it sounds like not too bad an idea - especially for whoever may end up with the build.
  23. Beautiful build.
  24. I would have had a 70 1/2 Camaro to build if B.Radcliffe would have followed through on the trade we had. Now B.Radcliffe won't return my emails or PMs. Beware of B.Radcliffe.
