My order - opps - Christmas present from my wife arrived today. Some Chrome BMF and wire looms from Scale Dreams.

Hey thanks guys. The paint is HOK kandy purple that I got from TCP Global. I buy in 2 oz bottles already mixed. The interior wasn't so bad. It was a fairly small tub to do. I did my best at making a polished aluminum tilt column. Came out pretty good, I think.

Yo Dr. Crank - I just thought of something (and the headache is comin' on). What about some tire marks on the concrete - like somebody did a burnout leaving the shop?

Got this kit in a trade and I'm not sure what the frame is from. The paint is HOK Kandy purple over a silver basecoat and topped off with Tamiya clear pearl. Headlight are spotlights from somewhere. Big block Chevy engine from somewhere with polished aluminum tubing exhaust. I had to tub it to get those big M/T Sportsman tires from Ma's Resin underneath. Did a roll & pleated interior from Evergreen. The air cleaners & seats are my own castings. I rolled the rear pan under a little and cut in ovals for the taillights.

Cranky, Cranky. I can't stand it anymore. Your dio is looking fantastic! I need to go out to the shop and work on my molds & castings. Keep up the great work. It's so interesting!

Didn't know about this show but I'll look for it. Never met him, but I like Chip Foose and the work he does.

How about a light grey interior with some blue accents?

Well Cranky, I don't do things that way. I wrote the book to be able to help educate people about "The Wall" and to pay tribute to my brothers and sisters whose names are inscribed on The Wall. Of the several hundred copies out there - along with an annual update when more names are added on Memorial Day, I've never asked for or recieved a dime. The copyright is November 10, 1997 - the Marine Corps birthday. My Scrabble game has wood letters.

Yeah. What book, Harry? I wrote a book and got a copyright but never followed through with a publisher. "The Vietnam Veterans Memorial - Your Questions Answered". It's used by the National Park Service as a training aid, by the Smithsonian and Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund as a reference guide.

I gotta try it. I poured molds for taillights yesterday andd I was just going out to the shop to check on them. If they're set, I'll try my first shot at clear Aluminite with red dye. It's only 52 degrees and the shop is probably cold.

So 2 part molds aren't so bad? I'd like to mold the Pegasus disk brakes and I think they'd need the 2 part process. Your hood looks pretty good.

You must be a genius, doc. Those lights are a wonderful idea. If Rommell ever gets back here, he could probably tell you how to light them up.

Not a problem for me, Davyou5. Danno - the seats are originally from R&D Unique #RDU-1702. I don't know if they're still around. The package says I got them in 2000. If they are - great. If not, send me a PM.

Hey doc. I looked up gatorboard on the computer. Did you really have to cut that stuff with a power saw? Would a utility knife work?
