I am impressed. The only thing I would comment on is that I have deleted a prior link that had content that I feel was not appropriate. Also, this last link is pushing the line. The bear is funny, ha ha, but some of it is in poor taste. Great idea, just make it more family orientated.

And the ability to shoot at aperture priority, at the highest setting. I'll get those articles up today.

I have had quite a few articles on shooting with digital cameras. I think I posted some of them here. If not, I will make a pinged thread and post the pdf's there. There are some things that have to be set and checked on the camera to get the best shots possible. It doesn't have to be a ten gazillion mega pixel camera. Darryl and John O use my favorite camera, a 5 mega pixel Olympus CZ5050, one of the best cameras made before the "new" revolution. My one cent again, so that makes it my two cents total. .......

If your hobby shop sells out all the time, have them call the office and up their issues sent each month. Preferably, we would like to see them returning 1-3 copies per month, that way we know they aren't selling out and missing potential customers. My one cent

I have used them also, they are light, like mageckman said. I used 91% to clean it though, it's a bit more stronger.

I agree with Bill 254.3% Prep and polish the trim underneath the BMF to the point of it being like glass. Tape the body/finished area surrounding the trim if you have to, and spend time perfecting it. One good tool to use is from Mirco Mesh, their polishing swabs: http://www.micro-surface.com/default.cfm?p...V&storeid=1 These are fantastic for prepping the trim areas, especially around the windshield area. My two cents.... -

First off, let me quote the November editorial: " In order to increase our production from nine issues per year to 12, we need to increase our subscriber base. " This has not happened. We got only a small bump in subscriptions, and the calendars have not done that well also. The price increase is the first in over 7 years. The cover price has never gone up before now, that's almost ten years. If the subscriptions numbers do rise, and I mean rise, not burp, then we should be able to go to 12 a year. I hope to get into the major book stores and newsstands by the summer, that should help our base also. It's tough times, I know, but like I have always said, I'm here for the long haul Watch for some very interesting news coming up soon.

They weren't memories, they were dreams come true. I am so blessed. The greatest "job" in the world The greatest friends anyone could ask Being able to show up in places thousands of miles away from home and people stop and say hi, meeting new friends, putting names to faces, grabbing stories and articles along the way.... And who knows, maybe even a new contributing Sketch Pad artist for the magazine..... It really was a fantastic weekend. Even though spoiled Gregg didn't get his upgrades on the flight, I still enjoyed this trip more than any I can remember in a long long time. This just goes to show you: You never know when or where I will show up. Just the look on the faces of a few in Pegasus Hobbies in Montclair when John Oszajaca and I showed up was so cool: Lil' Joe, Bill, Tony (and Tony's other half, Makiko sp?, don't shoot me if I got the spelling wrong), was what I love doing. Jairus and I would drive across country sometimes and pop into local mom & pop hobby shops and not say a word. It was and is so cool and so much fun to do. I love coming back to a show and hearing guys tell me, or actually appologize, that they didn't know who I was when I was talking to them. That's the way I like it. I'm just a guy who builds models who was in the right place at the right time, and has been able to devote over ten years of his life to his passion, hobby, and dream. And this past weekend really makes the struggles all worth it. Okay, that's it, I pau I will post pics the next few days Thanks, everyone, for everthing

I'm at LAX, writing this Went to the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona this weekend. Yesterday, I got to meet my long time idol: Rich Guasco, the man behind Pure Hell, my favorite car of all time. I spent about ten minutes talking to him, he signed some photos for me, and let me take this picture:

I have run machining articles before. Need to do more Actually this next weekend I am shooting a huge series on resin casting Everything you never want to know about resin casting. Jairus did a great piece on vacuum forming, but some people say it sucked. (sorry, bad pun....) I am open to many ideas Photoetching is one, and airbrushing, and I have a piece on decals I am trying to finish up. Plus, getting into the digital side of model building. And of course, back to basics as well. I have seen some great work from the low buck lathes (dremel tools in a vise)
