I Switched My Cable Co.Now......
Gregg replied to george 53's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yet language is still in post? Shall I lay down the harsh hand of Buddha? Wait, that's a contradiction of terms, of sort... Just keep it clean, don't get around the rules by putting periods. That will just aim to tee me off. And George, yah know I luv yah! -

any musicians here?
Gregg replied to Corvette.Jeff's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I play Black Jack. Does that count? I know there are some great musicians here. The highlight of one of trips I took was when I was walking, very half-cocked, down the street in Puerto Rico, and lo-an-behold, someone yelled my name. I'm 6,000 miles away from home... WTH. I looked up, kinda, and there is my good friend Simon Rivera Torres, standing outside of a club that was blasting music. He brought me inside, next to the stage and for what seemed like hours, I stood there mesmerized while his band blasted away some incredible jazz tunes, Simon on the Trumpet, me in a daze, it was truly amazing!!!!! Truly, one of the highlights of my blessed life/passion with model cars. Larry Greenberg is also an incredibly talented musician. If I can only convince him to convert to a Mac, he can make his music so much more easily, without all the crashes and blue screens of death..... Dean Milano, he blows me away!!!!! This guy is incredible!!!! Check out his links and videos. An incredible collection I saw was when Jairus and I stayed at Gary Schmidt's house (yes, a life-changing moment for me). Gary has an incredible collection of guitars that would make a grown man cry! Rich Robertson, our local club member, can play any instrument any where, any time. Truly gifted. Me, I play with models, or toys, as some ex's call them. Played sax in high school, till I found out it was supposed to be sex I was supposed to be learning about.... three years wasted, oh well....... I'll stick to my Bose headphones and ITunes. Hawaiian Music, of course Kelly and I go to as many live music events we can. Took her to Biscuit and Blues in San Fran after the NNL West, was a blast! Ray Piaza freaked out when he found out what I do. He is a total car freak. Such is our hobby, so inter-twined. Now, time to put some Iz on, and finish a couple of issues..... -
Yeah, you spelt smart wrong....

Guys, check out the new search feature on the main web site: www.modelcarsmag.com It's pretty cool! I am working on a new CMS (Content Management System) that will put the site above the rest, and be super easy to use. Let me know how the search feature works on main site. Thanks

Just because I own the site, can manipulate the data, change the stats, ban or delete users, add users who don't exist, changes posts and threads, does not mean I could (or would) stuff the ballot box. My '32 stands on it's own. And yes, I BUILD, and I do finish a model (once in a while...) Did I mention that the editor of the best model car magazine out there actually builds model cars? (shut up already, Gregg...._) Okay, I pau....
