I need your help, my friends. Please enter your show dates, locations, times, web sites, etc., in the Calendar which can be accessed at the top right of the page. I am getting rid of the calendar link from the mag's main site to refer to the forum's online calendar. That way, you all can help out in promoting your show, and of course, IT'S FREE!!!! (what a concept....) Also, if anyone wants to take over the job of updating the online calendar in exchange for a free subscription, let me know. I can send the text files of the events as they go to press, they just have to be entered into the forum calendar one-by-one.

Post your pics here on the forum. There has to a story behind the pictures for it to get in the mag. We don't just print pics of models. I did a Reader's Gallery before, but it has been a while We do features on builders, like Andy Jones from England, but like I said, there has to be a story behind the picture, model, builder. And yes, I do take bribes. Usually rolls of unmarked twenties, non-sequential, and sent in a plain brown envelope.

I have a question for my ohana. If you were to buy one of the great Model Cars Magazine T-Shirts, the new ones with our beloved Harry Pristovnik's artwork of the '49 Mercs on the back, how would you feel if I signed in black Sharpie each shirt that was sold? I had this thought - I know, I am allotted one a month - and I thought it would be cool to have the shirt signed personally when it was sold. Your thoughts, opinions, and of course, orders, would be greatly appreciated. I have plenty of Sharpies!!!!!!

Heh, no fair! I'm at LA airport getting drunk. I can't defund myself. No, wait, I am defunded! Or is that dumbfounded? Or unfounded Or just plain dumb? What a pic! I need new teet (yes, I say teet, no H after the T's) I had a blast this weekend Even though some F Head stole my brand new airbrush and kits I bought at GSL. Kurt and Janet were perfect hosts. We went out for sushi and sake last night, to try and drown my sorrows and tone down my attitude towards the tiefs I left Kurt's house about 11:00 a.m. this morning, drove up PCH on the coast to LAX. Was pretty neat. Wish I had gotten up earlier and spent some more time sightseeing. Nothing beats the trip Jairus and I took up and down the coast. That was such a blast. I think we did the drive more than once. Makes one want to move to the mainland Just jump in a car and drive. Just don't leave anything laying around on tables. I am seriously considering cancelling all shows for the rest of the year, This ###### happens and it don't make it worth it anymore. Okay, I pau. Great Pic Dave. Robert sells or use to sell on eBay a lot. He also has an ad in MCM, I think on page 52 or so, maybe 54. Scale Hardware also has some small threaded nuts and bolts. They also have ad in MCM. If you call them, let them know who sent you! Mahalo
