  1. Looks good to me!!!!
  2. I really like this one. Your work is very nice so far.
  3. I would be happy with that one. Very nice!!!!!!
  4. I'm in complete agreement. No model is perfect. I'm going to check one of the ones I buy against a Johan body, which looks awful good to me. I am then going to take that Johan and combine it with the Revell guts and make a truly nice '72 Gran Torino Sport Sportsroof out of the two.
  5. The continental kit is an option on this kit. The flat rear bumpar is included. The fuel injection unit is another story.
  6. It shows that they are not really listening to us. It is a great idea to market some simple snappers aimed for the kids, but we all know that adult modelers buy a lot of them too. Why are they doing that interration of the Crown Vic? The old Lindburg Crown Vic. is still easy to get on the secondary market at cheap prices. The last body style Crown Vic would be a great seller as a model kit, especially with some added engine detail, similar to the 1990's Caprice. They could spin it off into a Taxi Cab in NYC, or Chicago Livery, and then do it as a Mercury Marauder. As a police car, a selection of 2-3 period roof lights, and police equipment would be good, and leave the holes in the roof and pillars flashed over for an undercover/civilian car. It would be a better seller than the last Chevy Caprice police car from the 90's, as well as the Chevy Impala snap kit, or the Dodge Charger. Just make the body contours true to the real car, and not toy-like, and they would have a winner. I predict that we will get some un-painted versions of the C-7 Corvette in the near future, as a lot of us are not going to buy kits to strip the paint from and re-finish. Look at the Polar Light's kits from the last decade.
  7. Bill. Earlier in this post, I saw the test shot that was displayed at the NNL east, and the dip was in the body, as well as the interior door panels. I do not know what they used as the box art build, but the test shot looks good to me,.
  8. I saw Norm Today, as well as the car, and placed my order. It's that good. Now I need to find a set of tires and wheels.
  9. Beautiful!!!!!
  10. I love the color, and the workmanship is top notch too.
  11. I like this one!!!!!
  12. Incredible!!!!
  13. Those are very nice!!!!!!
  14. The original 1968 1/20 scale AMX from MPC was available at American Motors dealerships as part of a promotion. I saved my paper-boy money to get it. I was so happy to get that one. I do not really have a problem with 1/20 scale, as I have several Corvettes, and a 1970 Econoline Van, as well as the "Lightening Bolt" version of the '70 AMX. Remember, AMT marketed the JoHan tooling of the 1968-70 AMX in 1/25 scale, and jJoHan wore the tooling out with their USA Oldies/Drag-On-Lady/Pro-Street '69 AMX with the incorrect 1970 interior. I was fortunate that I was able to get my hands on a used 1968-9 Interior Tub, and Flat Hood for one of my "Race Cars.. Keith Marks did some nice AMX Striping for the '68/9 Cars.
  15. This is one of my favorite kits. I built this one when the kit was first introduced, and restored it last year. This picture is while it was under restiration. I was able to save the paint with just a polish, and I "bare-metaled" the car over the silver paint. I bought the 5-spokes for another project, but they worked well here.
  16. Bob, I will be following this one with baited breath. In the past few years, I restored a '71 Impala Glue-bomber, and a '69 XL Convertible conversion.I like both cars.
  17. As much as I would have liked the 'seat', that spear is the bomb!!!!!!!
