  1. Beautiful!!!!!
  2. That looks great!!!!!
  3. One thing I can say about you Bill, You do not miss a trick. I am going in a similar direction with my '67 Mustang Build, Mine is going to be the reverse color of yours. I am considering doing it as a "High Zoot" base fastback instead of a GT. My boy scouit master had a red '67 coupe with the decor package on the exterior, and the 6 cylinder engine. You are right about the sail panel louvers, as I have to add them to mine. I may change the wheels and tires to whitewalls and full wheel covers, and pull the V8 and install a 6, just to be a little different.
  4. Those are very nice!!!!!
  5. Maybe that's where your order you did not get went.
  6. The woodgrain decal is from Firebird Designs. It's not Factory Stock, but it worked good for me. I 'm going to use the rest of what I have on a '57 Country Squire.
  7. This is one fantastic model!!!!!
  8. I was able to get a little work done on the Ford last week. I painted the light ash wood trim, Bare Metaled it, polished the paint, and added the rivet detail. WhileI was installing the rivets, I had gotten a huge smear of super glue on the roof. Fortunately, I has started polishing the paint, so the roof was pretty smooth at the time. I let the glue dry, and I was able to tape off, and polish out that section. There is a slight blemish where the smear was, but the rack covers it up. I also lowered the front end, which is a vast improvement. I plan to work on the interior and chassis this week. I have some exterior touch up to do, and some accessories to add.
  9. Very Nice!!!!
  10. Nice work Dan!!!!!!
  11. I have been a member since 1987, and going to the meeting is one thing I look forward to every month. I have made many friends within the club, and through activities associated with the club. I have learned so many things from the talented modelers in the club. Thank you!!!!!
  12. I like what I see so far. Just do your thing on your own time.
  13. My, My, My, that looks familiar. I love that color combo.
  14. That's some nice work Alan. Those skirts brought it back to the early '60's. I love those late 50's/early '60's Exner Imperials. I have one of those Revell 4-door hardtops to restore too. I have just about everything to bring this one back to life. Some of the parts are not available, so I have to adapt some AMT pieces , and cobble up some of my own. I may close in the rear backlight in the style of the LeBaron 4-door Hardtop, as I like that bodystyle better than the Crown Hardtop. Here's the same photo with the skirts Photoshopped on the car with the rear wheel flares removed, and some additional chrome mouldings added to the rear quarters. Those skirts give the car a longer look. I'm not sure if I would go with them, but my color will be either Black, Navy Blue, Dark Forest Green, Or Cordovan, with a coordinating interior.
  15. I'll probably have my AMT '60 done before the Trumpeter just because it is a little farther along. It's in primer, but I have not decided on a color yet.
  16. Steve, sorry to Hijack your thread. That '59 is going to be a beauty.
  17. I do not agree with you Walid concerning the Trumpeter '60. It did take a bit of work to get it there, and it was not a waste of time to me. I have one of their hardtops to work over, along with an original AMT, which I am restoring.
  18. No photos today, but I painted the light ash wood trim tonight, and I Bare Metaled it last night. The more I look at it, I'm going to stick with the stock full wheel covers Tony, but thanks for the offer.
