Hey, hats off to Bart !!!!!!!!!!!! Second , the Dencon resin pieces were meant to fit the "Annual " Bonniville A M T model kit as the pieces were part of the "Mild Custom parts ". I'm told some MINOR trimming MAY be nessesary to make it fir the NEW Catilinia body. Bart, keep on truckin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ed Shaver -

Revell 1940 Custom Pick Up--Coming Soon
Eshaver replied to Dr. Cranky's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
For the benifit of those wanting to do so , a Stock 40 is doable using suspension pieces from a A M T 40 Ford sedan . I did this one several years ago and then included it into a diorama I did . Ed Shaver -
Why Did Figures in Model Kits Disappear?
Eshaver replied to Casey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I know this is taking the topic , "Off Course " but I want to plug Norman Veeber here . Norman does supplu the Mod Squad figures from the old Auroura 1950 Mercury and a set of Three figgures he calls "Mom , Pop , and the kids " . I have the mom and pop set and yes , they trim out nicely I might add. If you look at the center of the Shell building , you can see the Gentleman and his da\ughter . I saved the Wife and a baby for another diorama , soon to be prevued here ............. Ed Shaver -
What sturck me so was the fact that this packaging is VERY VERY reminessesant of the "Origional " Sunoco cottages built on the eastern seaboard in the late 1920' s. All had a distinct "Humped " roof and were tiled in Slate , Blue . Go to the Hemmings Motor News site to see such a building . Ed Shaver

Why Did Figures in Model Kits Disappear?
Eshaver replied to Casey's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Didn't the Beatnik Bandit II Have a Ed Roth Figure ? Some one gave me one and told me it was from there . I have to say, a good likeness of Ed too. Ed Shaver -

Mark, actually a company did do the "Snoot" Econoline , only it was a diecast with a sliding side door in 1-24th scale . Wal- Mart had them I guess a good Four years ago now . I got the last Ford that the close by store had . They also did a 76 Chevrolet too. I'll give the company this , The Graphics on the sides were kida cheesey, but the overall details were decent . Meanwhile , I had this ,this old M P C van , has potential , provided ya can deal with the wierd 1-20th scale and the fact it depicted as a 1 ton van . In the real world , they were known as E- 300's . I had one . Oh yeah , it was a gas hog too. Still, I'll give it credit , I went to too many Truck - ins around the Gulf Coast . The heater was a piece of junk though . Thankfully, the newer Econolines that followed in 1975 were much much better . Hey , truck looks fine, I'm eager to see more progress, regardless of scale ........ ! Ed Shaver
