  1. I've made louvers with 1/4 round stock, cut the opening in the panel, a slot really and glue lengths of 1/4 stock over it, sand to shape.
  2. I was thinking the skyliner for the wagon also, two tone, lowered with 18s.
  3. now there's a kit i'd buy a dozen of.
  4. Hey, when money is no object , you can have built anything you can think of.
  5. I can't see the market for either, while interesting subjects, the numbers wouldn't justify the expense.
  6. here's another one I picked a month ago, don't think I posted it, a 59 Country Sedan wagon, think I got it for a couple of bucks. It has hard plastic wheels and tires and a metal plate chassis. while I'm at it ,here's a little Beretta I picked up at a vegetable stand on the side of the road. straight promo.
  7. no plans right now, looking around to see if parts are available, how much they cost etc. I have the windshield area from a 67 convertible but I haven't got it out to see if it will fit. wheels and tires would be changed , the tail light is the only part I'm worried about.
  8. picked this up yesterday at the flea market for a dollar, 69 Impala SS convertible, missing 2 tires driver side tail light and windshield frame.
  9. too much time on the computer, , and just lazy.
  10. While that's a nice show piece for your construction skills, that's all it is, would over heat and melt in traffic.
  11. I think the car came with F 70s all around , Ls were an up grade to get more traction, here's a copy of the tire information sticker.
  12. Nice start, but please don't put L 60 tires on the front.
  13. AHH the male ego, I have money and a fast car, so obviously I can drive it any way I want.
  14. Drag cars historically do not like to turn at speed, especially tall top heavy ones.
  15. JC you do really nice work.
  16. Had a wonderful dinner with family, the temp was in the high 70s, a nice breeze blowing, it was a great day.
  17. I think they used the sedan delivery parts to get the Buick engine in the kit, didn't the other coupe kits have an Olds engine ? and I don't see tail lights on the chrome tree , did I miss them ?
  18. Looks pretty dang close to me. or if you like red,
  19. This may seem like an ignorant question but, if the cowl hood picks up high pressure air at the base of the windshield, shouldn't the opening on the carburetor scoop face the back? Okay, looking a little closer I see that the clear scoop will not fit under the hood, but the question is still right isn't it , assuming there is a scoop on the carbs under the hood ?
  20. really nice, just a suggestion, add some black around the headlights and turn signals and you're good.
  21. Nice job on the rebuild, like the headers.
  22. Hey, it was cold out and the car was warm.
