  1. I have the older style (#440) they do and use them all the time. I've had them for years. They make a newer "Professional" version that's supposed to be even better. (#9180)
  2. I've got a set of Ford Truck color chips, I think they run 69-75, I'll scan them Monday when I'm next in work and have access to a scanner.
  3. The first 3 are related, came out mid 60's then mid 70's substantially modified to make the Tom Daniel Bad Man, then the 80's Street Machine was pretty much the Bad Man with different wheels and minor changes. Then late 90's brought us a totally new-tool Revell/Monogram convertible and then mid 2000's we got a hardtop based on that tooling.
  4. since you're including the new-tool convertible, where's the new-tool hardtop?
  5. Nope the Model King version is 2wd. I'm holding one in my hands as I type this. Actually I'm cradling it in my arms like a newborn child..... There was talk of a 4x4 during development of this series so I would not be at all surprised to see one down the road.
  6. Revell's 67 Charger is light years ahead of MPC's 67 Charger
  7. I misremembered. It was the built up that had the figure, not the kit.
  8. There was a diecast kit 67 Shelby Mustang with him in a suit leaning against the car.
  9. Yeah we stocked up! Probably enough to last a few weeks at the current rate. Thanks for the order!
  10. Well, they've already shown a 61 Catalina on the flyer they had at NNL East 14. The illustration they used showed regular steel wheels, so I'm betting those 4 empty spots on the air cleaner sprue are for them. The other empty spots hint at a 421 SD to me (intake, valve covers, air cleaners or carbs) as those spots are right next to the parts they'd replace.
  11. Revell (originally Monogram, thus 1/24) is the best, IMO, quite possibly the best kit from the Monogram era. Fujimi's is kinda funky (based on a replica perhaps?) and the engine is a total cartoon. Folks that know more about Cobra will be along shortly I'm sure.
  12. Fireball Modelworks - http://www.fireballmodels.info/ and Scale Equipment Ltd - http://seltd.net/ also make RWL decals. I never had any luck with Shabo dry transfers, I prefer the waterslides.
  13. I'm just glad nobody's posted a picture of the Challenger explosion... ...yet.
  14. Even unfinished like that it's still miles ahead of the others. Only thing I'd do different is to move the rear wheel arches up to match the tire and maybe go with a little less chop (too much chop plus channeled means your head winds up sticking out the roof insert...)
  15. I think (and this is just my opinion) that Revell priced it too low and they're selling tons but not making any money. Heck, we lost money on a couple large orders of these that cost a lot to ship (we charge a flat-rate $8.95 with free shipping over $200). They missed the boat with the price - it was too low. Should have been a $60 kit, not $40. I would expect to see it come back later at a higher price.
  16. Use a chisel-tip Sharpie. Attach with white glue (PVA).
  17. Yep, they are discontinued. Get em while you can!
  18. Looks like just the handful in tan and the GT on that first Ford page are official Ford designs. The rest are from various artists on Turbosquid.
  19. http://www.hobidas.com/blog/j-tipo/desktop/ Desktop-Garage. Japanese, but who reads words anyway...
