  1. This one never made it to work in progress. Parts from various Revell deuces and Model A's were combined with parts from the stash, a 3D printed flathead with 8 plug heads and 4 carb intake manifold, a scratch built sprint car steering unit, and scratch built posable steering.
  2. Yeah, the mittens get in the way!
  3. That'l keep you out of the bars and brothels....................?
  4. Super job on a not often seen subject. Looks like you planned your build and built your plan. Well Done!
  5. Here's an idea- an old, cracked display case bottom with some spray paint and a couple of figures.
  6. Nice build! Love the color!
  7. Great job! Can't wait to see it finished!
  8. One of the nicest Mercs I have ever seen! Plenty of go with that Offenhauser equipped engine as well!
  9. I will be there. Breakfast is excellent! Contest and swap meet too!
  10. Glad you painted it something other than green- great job so far! Looking for ward to more!

  16. until

Any chance of the entry form before the contest?
  17. Turning into one very classy ride!
  18. Making progress! Plug wires, electrical lines, oil lines, and fuel lines in place! Exhaust system is fabricated and installed! My driver figure is progressing. The handlebars have been bent up and remain to be painted, and the brake line and throttle cable have yet to be figured out. The master cylinder needs to be placed and installed, with the front and rear brake lines yet to be installed. This little project may be finished soon!
  19. Great reference material! Have fun in Styrenistan!
  20. Progress! Painting and weathering, final drive chain in place, engine set in place, will be removed for detailing.
  21. Glad to see this thread again- looking forward to more!
  22. More mockups- in 1/25th scale, this will be a BIG bike! The seat was formed from a cut down regular seat- back removed, seat portion reshaped into a motorcycle saddle- the driver figure sits on it perfectly. I may be removing a bit more from the rear of the bottom frame to place the rear wheel properly. I will be using watchmakers fuzee chain for the final drive. This can be located from S. Larose and Co.- a very large watch parts and tools supply house. It is actually miniature roller chain and is perfect for 1/25th scale. The instrument panel is from an old junker Corvette.
