    Work continues. Chassis and engine done, with DeSoto bumpers from the Revell 49 Merc, fishtail dual pipes from Norm Veber, and a trailer hitch to tow my teardrop trailer. Also got some painting done. Next project will be cutting up the window glass to fit, then trial fitting the interior shell again.

    I like those massive disc brakes, and the Jay's wheels have a sort of Art Deco look which suits an Art Deco car.

    Is this 1/24th scale (old Monogram)? If so Norm Veber (Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland) had a chopped top for these, like the AMT one, if you want to go that way.

    Beautiful build! Is that chrome strip nail tape? If so it looks great! BTW, after 65 years I still can't paint that good on the first try! Thanks for the inspiration to keep trying!

    Stance! Fuel injected flat head! Need warmer weather to do more priming.
