  1. I would like to open the doors on a Deuce roadster project. It would appear that the rear portion of the body and the cowl would have to be mounted to the chassis and interior separately. Anyone who has done this and would like to share their techniques?
  2. Started with the Monogram 427 side oiler, added dohc heads from a Corvette, a Viper transmission, and two blowers from the AMT 57 Chevy.
  3. Ryan, I am using automotive one part red putty in the tube and Testors flat black for primer. My go to for years. Putty doesn't seem to shrink once dry- at least not yet!
  4. Progress! 600 cubic inch, 1000 hp, dohc, double supercharger engine with dual 4bbl carbs! interior done, chassis being paint detailed, wire wheels, body work nearly done- just some refining to accomplish. This will be my first airbrushed model- kandy metallic black!
  5. Tim, congrats on finishing your project- you did a beautiful job! Wanna race my V-16 Duesenberg boat?
  6. Beautiful build!
  7. Duplicolor dark garnet.
  8. Used a chrome pen- smooth even strokes using the side of the nib.
  9. This is the AMT Blueprinter Batmobile cocoon armor based on the movie with Michael Keaton. It is 1/25th scale and is basically a vacuum formed shell. I think it was meant to fit over the Batmobile kit.
  10. Never got to post in WIP- moved along too quickly! Got the shell in a trade- sides and top- created everything else.
  11. Ultra quick build- glued 4 tires inside- that's it!
  12. Finished, but a ten footer.
  13. AMT 3 in 1 boat kit. 1959. Six years old.
  14. This is a great kit and builds up well. Keep going!
  15. Very cool custom project!
  16. Super nice build, and the XK-120 is great as well!
  17. Gorgeous! Loving that paint!
  18. Nice! VERY nice!
  19. Outstanding as usual, very fun and informative to follow along!
  20. Had a fantastic trade with Jim Sullivan- also had coffee and a great talk!
  21. All of the above!!! I love it!
  22. Thanks, Rusty, the interior will now be black and chrome, should also make the body color stand out!
  23. Peter, I think maybe a larger speed boat would be good- maybe wood hulled from the 30's?
