    Started with a Revell ProModeler 1969 Daytona Charger kit. Some plastic tubing for rollcage and "K" member, PPP wheels and tires, Tamiya spray paints, Powerslide Decals and alot of work. Some things I would do alittle differently bit, overall happy with the results. I have included some pictures with my stock Daytona Charger for comparison. This is Bobby's 1979 Daytona 500 car that he finished 3rd on I believe.

    I'm loving this. Alot of people do not like the early 60's Mopars but I love them. Wish someone would come out with more kits of them like Jo-han did decades ago.

    I have thought about getting another of the original kits to build one as I had one when I was a kid, didn't turn out to well. Prices are high on them now. Guess I will just enjoy the Mega Construx Bigfoot that he got for Christmas. Will look forward to seeing your build though. Here is what my son got for Christmas if anyone is interested.

    Here's one that I have started with. I'm using the Revell Daytona Charger kit with some of the ProModeler nascar pieces from the original release of this kit. Haven't started a Superbird yet but I have a couple of the Johan Petty Superbirds to use.

    Got this back out to try and complete. Got the wheels and tires ready to go. Working on the dash. Got the body polished and bare-metal foiled.

    Thanks guys. Like said, it's not the best but, it will do. I applied a coat of Future over the entire model prior to final assembly but the Future appears to have cracked. Have been hearing that it does that when applied over acrylics for some reason. I used Tamiya primer and paints. I left the paint dry for a couple weeks and then applied the decals and left them dry for a week. Then applied a coat of Future over it.

    Guess this will be my last build for 2022. Continuing my Nascar Champions Builds, this is my 1978 Winston Cup Championship winning Oldsmobile driven by Cale Yarborough. Not perfect but will do. Started with Salvino JR Model kit. Tamiya paints, Powerslide Decals

    Thanks Mark. My wife and I walked into the pet store back in March and we seen that face and couldn't leave here there. She came home that day with us. Maddie, is her name. She goes to work with me everyday. She's my very close sidekick.

    Did some digging, think I may have found another hood in my stash. I had a Revell Daytona Charger that I had swapped the front ends with a Revell 68 Charger to use an AMT 69 Charger 500 grille in to make a better detailed 69 Chargee 500. Need to finish that one soon. Anyway I have another hood to prep and paint.

    Well, I now need to source another hood for my project. I love my dog but, she got a hold of my hood thinking it would taste good. Guess somebody knocked it down from the top of the bookshelf it was on until I got around to building it this winter.

    1965 Chevy II

    Haven't seen to many of the Moebius Nova/Chevy II kits built so, I wanted to share what my father did with one of the Moebius 1965 Chevy II Gasser kits. Her combined some parts from the 1964 Nova SS kit with the Gasser kits to build a Street Sedan. I told him if he waited Moebius may bring this out in a kit but, he didn't want to wait. I don't know if they will or not but given their track record with the Ford truck line, I would see it as a good possibility. I like to look of it.

    Following. I have watched the series with my father after I had bought the complete series on DVD for him one year for Christmas. He loves the show.

    Started decaling. A slow go at them. 3 Amigos Decals. Everything has a white base that goes on first.
