  1. I plan on buying multiple of each kit. I have decals for just about all the original AWB cars and plan on building them. Thank you, Moebius, for bringing these kits out. Working on a couple 65 Plymouths right now and they are such great kits.
  2. How about a set from Moebius 65 Plymouths? I have an extra set of those.
  3. I'm in need of 1 Keystone mag from the Amt 1940 Ford Coupe. I had a set of 4 but lost 1 wheel for the rear of my project. Would anyone have one to spare? I have others but they do not match what I plan on using.
  4. I thought as well so, I grabbed my Gold, Clear Orange and a spoon and tried that. That didn't work. I'll have to get some Silver to try.
  5. Thanks everyone. I don't recall seeing anything about these paints before. I just thought I would try them since I had them in my stash. Was told by the Golden Commandos to make sure I use a Candy Tangerine on their cars as that was the color they used. Didn't know it was going to turn into a soap opera. Moving on now. Will try and come up with something else.
  6. Never tried this before, have had these House of Kolors bottles for close 20 years. Got them back at Walmart years ago and thought this would be a good candidate to try them out. Started with ScaleFinishes White Superprimer since I believed the HOK paints were alittle hotter. Then sprayed Automotive White, taped and sprayed Automotive Silver for a base. Mixed up the HOK Tangerine and airbrushed over the Silver. Looked great. Left dry for 4 days and sprayed Tamiya Clear over figuring it would be ok. Guess it wasn't ok. Does anyone have any experience with the line of HOK paints?
  7. My father just built this one using decals from Southern Motorsports Hobbies. I believe they were Yesteryear Decals. He had no issues with his.
  8. Looks amazing! I love the AWB Mopars.
  9. Just completed my 1964 Dodge A999 "Hemi Honker" driven by the late Bud Faubel. AMT kit with decals from SMP Decals. Airbrushed with Tamiya White, no clear. Interior is not correct but it is what came with the kit.

    '70 Buick GS.

Looks great. I have one started as well converting the GSX to GS but I added a vinyl top to mine. Thanks for sharing and giving some inspiration to complete mine.
  11. This started out to be the 1967 Shirley Shahan Drag On Lady. Painted it Pearl White with Black Interior. Amt blue wall slicks. Decals are garbage from 1997 when the kit first came out. Guess it will remain like this until I can find some aftermarket decals for this car.
  12. Does anyone know if any aftermarket did decals for this car? I have 2 sets of kit decals and both have turned yellow and are not usable. I placed them in sunlight to "bleach" the yellow away but they still look yellow when placed on the pearl white paint.

Looks great! Gotta love a pink Mopar
  15. That looks great. I've finally got one in my stash, now what to do with it?
  16. Great looking Charger. I built one as well a few years ago.
  17. Finished up my 1968 Dodge Dart GSS as sold by Grand Spaulding Dodge owned by Mr Norms in Chicago. Tamiya Italian Red, Black vinyl top, red line tires and Atlas 5 spoke wheels.
  18. Just completed my 1965 Dyno Don Nicholson Comet. Started with the Beswick kit prior to the release of the Nicholson kit that's how long this has been in the works. Painted Model Master Italian Red from the spray can. Slixx decals. Model kit built box stock.
  19. Thank you all for the comments
  20. Thank you all for the comments
  21. Work has been slow so, just working on models to pass the time. Just completed my Revell 1970 Dodge Charger. I built this with my daughter in mind. Glued plastic strip to add the vinyl top trim, and flat strips for the seams in the roof, painted the top white. Body was airbrushed with Testors Hot Magenta. I had originally airbrushed with Testors Panther Pink but that looked to dark. I like the Hot Magenta better. The rest of the model was box stock with pin strip decals from Keith Marks.
  22. That looks amazing. Wish someone would redo this kit.
  23. Looks great.
  24. Finally, just went on and completed my model.
  25. Just completed my 1964 Dodge altred and driven by Dick Landy. Stock Amt kit, modified body for the altred wheelbase, used a straight axle and leaf springs from a Dodge A-100 pickup kit. Tamiya paints and Slixx decals. The front track width could have been a little wider.
