Austin , You can mix it into other pearl colors . When mixed in with standard colors , the pearl additives are simply swallowed up and do not show through . My best results thus far have been achieved by mixing the pearls in my clearcoats .

Now you get a Yost Worthy Answer ! Lol ! Doug , as I stated in the airbrush DVD , I do not clear over white with Testors enamels . It will yellow, either right then or there , or eventually ! To say the least , it is inevitable ! I simply polish out the white paint and call it a day ! You will be very pleased with the results by doing so .

It depends on the pen ! Lol ! You have to open up alot of them before you find the right ones ! Kathie came up with a bunch from work that are the perfect size . I do make my own from wire also .

Bob , Thank you for the compliments ! I use Testors clear top coat for all my gloss work . Alot of the time , I simply don't need to wet sand my finishes , simply because I'm such a fanatic when it comes to keeping the paint environment controlled . When I do , I use MicroMark's polishing cloths to wet sand , rub out with Novus #2 and finish it with The Final Details Treatment wax.

Hi Guys ! Nope , no fishing today ! I was in the shop painting a body for some crazed individual's apocalyptic community buildoff ! Lol ! Terry , exact same method with each and every paint job ! This is Pearl X violet over a Testors enamel color base . It is a much deeper blue than what it appears in the photos , with a violet tinge to it , almost a burple shade ! The body that gave me fits is now in the possession of The Loosiyana Loonietic ! The color just wasn't what I was looking for . Rather than dunk it , Glen traded me for a virgin body and parts to replace what I sent to him . Good riddance , I had the last laugh ! ...... I think! Virg , I'll be sending pictures of the body and parts for your community build some time next week . Twisted piece for sure !

I find the figures to be a fabulous addition to our hobby . Now , if someone really wanted to make a small fortune ..... I know of a certain crew that would love to see a horde of zombie figures to be put up on the market !

I have to echo " Z " on his comments here . Greg worked the shows like a magician , smooth with the banter , genuinely interested in what each and every individual had to say . You would be hard pressed to find a better ambassador for the hobby on the planet . Due to health issues , his participation at the shows is pretty much non existent at the moment . Depending on others to come through for you is a mixed bag at best . Overall , the last few issues of the Contest issue have been pretty good in my opinion . As to certain individuals making the magazine , photowise, on a regular basis ? They pretty much earn it each and everytime . As far as I see it , it's just like an award at a show , you have to work for it . The " staff " for this magazine does an outstanding job , working hard to promote the most important aspect there is , the hobby itself !
