Finally, the vision I settled on for this one is that his is a vehicle that is somewhat street legal and could be taken to the track on the weekends, replace the wheels, put on the parachute, wheelie bars, and you are good to run . . . I could have extended the exhaust so that it would be out more and not be likely to flood the cabin with smoke, but then again it's a convertible . . . Here are more pics:

Looking at a model like this is what CRANKS me up as a builder. The fact that it looks so different and it's obvious you (YOU!) the builder had so much fun. Great source of styrene addiction, my friend. Cheers, DC

LOL, thanks, Bill, and then instead of working in a styrene Lab-RAT-ory, they will put me in a "home" for those touched by styrene lunacy and other ailments. :lol: Seriously, I love them and plan on building a few more.

I think for all practical purposes, both types of markets can be maintained and grown: the ones for the accuracy fanatics, and the one for everyone else. Snap Kits are for kids, sure, but Skill Level 3 kits are advanced builders and kit-bashing fanatics, etc . . . What I am saying is: It's all good, and there's room for all sorts of markets. If you have a smart company you try to grow regardless.

Ed, one can only dream, but I think the reality of it is that they are going to Chip-foose it only as much as they could. Tires, decals, and maybe that's about it. We'll see, but I am hoping that they will make a series out of it.

I like this one quite a bit . . . the color, the engine details . . . it's a wonderful model.

After a long day of progress, I am almost ready to declare this one finished. Tomorrow I will share the pictures . . . right now I just finished installing the seat belts (old fashion) and everything is good to go. Please stay tuned in for more pictures . . .

In Florida you can renew your car multiple years instead of the one, which is also great. Move on down to Florida, folks. The only thing to fear are the big gators and storms and a fella who goes by Jim who is always demanding to see shiny builds. LOL.

If you are a good driver and you have a clean driving record, it should be like that, it should be one of the rewards, longer renewal periods.

They've streamlined the process in Florida and the real test to get your license is how high over the edge of the car window you reach.

Lucky you. Mine is coming up in 2019.

Terry, that sound horrifying, and I am glad to hear there were no casualties. Helmets, for me, are a big deal. I never get on without mine. No way, no sir.
