This is a great engine, but boy do the parts require sanding and cleaning. Donn warned me, but it's definitely a beauty inside this build.
I think I will build a new grill out of mesh so that the moon tank can be seen through it.
All right, I am starting to feel like this one is getting closer to getting primer and paint. Now that I have all the sub-assemblies ready . . .
The distributor is now up front and it's going to be capped with an after market piece. Looking forward to seeing it stick out of the modified hood a little bit.
The other thing I was going to say is that I start dreaming about the kit and imagining all the possible ways I can drool over it as I think of building it.
Neil, I like your open assessment of the kit. My interest in it is simply to use the parts to modify and build perhaps a more accurate 55 phantom gassers.
Thanks, Bill. I am making very slow progress, and believe it or not, I've spend the last couple of days working on the distributor to which I am adding a couple of after market parts.
Does anyone have good things to say about this kit that's being re-released this coming month?
