  1. Coming along beautifully, Harry. Once again, very creative solutions to the kit's inherent problems. Here's one I've been working on for a while. It's a fantastic multi-media kit in 1:32nd from Tomy. This is just a mock-up, body painted and with the PE wire wheels done. LOTS of details to add yet. (Note the toothpick for scale.)
  2. Absolutely beautiful!!! To quote Carly Simon, "nobody does it better".
  3. Windshield looks great. And the red paint too - wish I could get Tamiya to go on that smooth. Is it from a can? Could you describe your method?
  4. Beautifully done!!! The paint is perfect.
  5. Exactly what I was going to say.
  6. Pat, I like Omnimodels too. They don't muck about and I can afford their postage rates..
  7. Another beautiful classic from your bench. Those wire wheels really do look better than anything else I've seen in styrene.
  8. Steve, sorry about my confusion over "coral". I wasn't paying attention and thought you had used the lighter Dodge colour, Rose Quartz, on the Pontiac. (It does appear so in one of the photos.) And it seems you're right: the US auto industry did have a very broad understanding of how coral should look. In the graphic industry the shade is a lot more specific.
  9. (Ah, that's better, I was getting a sore neck.) Excellent work, Graeme, looks really great!
  10. We've seen quite a few of these but this one really stands out from the crowd. Excellent!
  11. That is REALLY nice! Love the champagne/silver - what brand did you use?
  12. Very nice! And you sure don't see those too often.
  13. Steve, I love your colour combo and I realise you're not trying to recreate actual Pontiac colours, but "coral" would actually be somewhere between the pink you've used and orange.
  14. Coming along magnificently!
  15. I really love this one - beautifully done throughout and everything looks just right!
  16. Fabulous!
  17. That is truly one outstanding model!!!
  18. Fine looking model.
  19. Great looking model, excellent foil work!
  20. Man, that is absolutely beautiful!!!
  21. Another truly outstanding conversion! (Very much enjoyed the Dodge article in the mag, too.)
  22. Very much enjoyed the magazine article, great to get the full story - and I learned a trick or two as well. Somebody mentioned Wingrove and the model certainly looks more like one of his than a Hubley kit. Congrats on an outstanding gem of a model!
