  1. Cool looking mild custom. Nice work Dominik!
  2. Specially at the rate I've been building this year!
  3. Continuing to take advantage of the current exchange rate for the swiss franc - it won't last. 66 Bonneville promo. A few flaws in the paint made it "affordable". If I was only allowed one model car it would probably be this one. Jr. Series 57 'Bird. Been wanting one since John Goshke pointed out the better proportions compared to the later kits. The roof will fit perfectly with some minor adjustment. Johan 62 Olds Super 88, built but not painted and only the mirror glued. I'm a Johan fan but I'd never heard of this one. X-EL re-issue 57 Olds. Got it from Poland.
  4. Just got this in the post yesterday, a Johan 62 Olds Super 88. It's built but not painted and the inside mirror seems to be the only part glued. I'd never seen one before and had to have it. Great that it's a 4-door.
  5. Excellent job on an old favourite and looking beautiful in that red!
  6. I hope they do the glass clear and not green like the last Johan re-issue. Realistically tinted glass in models would be great (as long as they didn't do headlight glass etc. on the same tree) but on my Rambler it's way too green.
  7. Looking great so far.
  8. That's a fine looking Miata!
  9. Great restoration, Ron. I love seeing these rare old kits so nicely built.
  10. One more from me...
  11. I have a 1.24th model of that Subaru, a gift from my wife's brother-in-law in Japan. And here's a couple I saw in the neighbourhood today:
  12. This is looking fabulous already, Steve. I have one of these in the works and will use yours as a standard to aim for.
  13. Very nicely done!
  14. Great looking model!
  15. Great ! Looks like it really means business.
  16. Very slick, fine looking finishes and detailing throughout.
  17. Nice work - I specially like the off-white, almondy colour.
  18. Love it!
  19. Here is Modelhaus' T-220W whitewall before and after I painted the whitewall red. (T-220R has the insert molded in red.) It's soft, rubber-like resin and is taken from an MPC Goodyear Polyglass G70-15 original. Here is a link to Drastic Plastic's very useful photos of a range of Modelhaus products: http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/1/2/1/after-market-source/modelhaus/
  20. What a neat collection!
