  1. Great looking model!
  2. You did a beautiful job on this - never would have guessed it was any smaller than 1.25.
  3. Carl, I have to admit to being more of a collector than a builder this year. Haven't really done anything since February except use up my lifetime modeling budget. I've often had long periods of modeling abstinence but always come back to it again and I'm sure that will happen soon. The Valiant has been in the purple pond for two days now and the paint is only just starting to budge. Might need something stronger.
  4. Both excellent!
  5. Wow, extraordinary workmanship. This is real modeling, as opposed to kit-building (which is what I do).
  6. Very nicely done!
  7. Great looking models.
  8. Very nice! What an amazing design this was.
  9. Enjoying your posts Wilson. You have some very interesting models that you don't see often - all nicely done too.
  10. Just arrived from America. I have a soft spot for early compacts but this one tends to be way too pricey - less so in this condition, of course. It's actually not too bad and the body has no damage or holes. It's missing one front and one rear light but Modelhaus has all the bits. It came apart easily and I'm now trying to strip the paint.
  11. Thanks for your input guys. I guess I'll stick with Photobucket and hope they can sort the problem out. I don't think it's at my end - they don't seem to think so either.
  12. I don't feel this is "Off Topic" so I'm posting it here. Can anybody who has used Photobucket AND Fotki recommend one over the other? For the last 10 days I've been having problems saving edited pictures on Photobucket and am thinking of switching. I've written to Photobucket and they say this is a known problem with some users and that they are trying to solve it - thought I'd try Fotki in the meantime.
  13. Very impressive - and welcome aboard!
  14. Three fabulous looking 59s there, exactly the sort of thing I'm into. I have all three and am slowly doing something similar with them. I agree totally about the interior - better inaccurate than nothing at all. Here's the other X-EL 59 Mopar which I haven't started on yet. Note the colour scheme.
  15. I remember this one - still looks great, very nicely detailed.
  16. Wow, amazing work! The second and third shots look convincingly real.
  17. Great looking 62!
  18. Wow, what an incredible collection! I can imagine Mr.Tamiya being extremely pleased with his gift.
  19. BTW Steve, your 60 Olds is (still) absolutely magnificent and beautifully photographed too. I've tried taking outdoor shots but haven't managed to make it work well yet. Go to the top of the class!
  20. Nice job on that, love the colour scheme.
