  1. One of my favourite posessions, 66 promo:
  2. Here's another way to love big Pontiacs; beautifully illustrated ads from 68 and 70.
  3. Coming along beautifully - crisp photography too.
  4. A few more... Interesting that there are kits of the other two but not the Jag Renault Alpine Always cool stuff on this lot
  5. Not actually on the road but on a specialist car lot near my home: Opel Rekord - like a mini 63 Chevy Bond Equipe. Never seen one before and don't know much about it except that was made in England and appears to be based on a Triumph Herald You can hire this Karmann Ghia - for $450 a day.
  6. That body is looking very smart indeed!
  7. Good on you Ron, very nice gesture - and a beautiful gift. I have a 64 HT in that same green. I always preferred the 64/5 C-pillar to the lengthened 66.
  8. Yet another top-shelf model, Al. Your foil and paint detailing is really impressive.
  9. Glad you persevered, Ray - looks fabulous!
  10. Wow, that is really nice! I've always had a soft spot for 60s compacts and have quite a few to do. But 3,641 built cars? Is that a typo?
  11. Steve, John - so great to see these two wonderful takes on the 59 Plymouth "together". You guys never fail to amaze me!
  12. I'm not a fan of lowriders but I love everything else about this. Excellent foil and paint detail in the grilles.
  13. Not at all surprised that you excel at this type of model too, and it does seem a shame not to finish it. (But personally I'm a big fan of the flawless factory-stock classics you've been posting and I hope you don't get too side-tracked from those.)
  14. Beautiful model and perfect colour choice. I prefer the older kits and promos to the newer AMT roadster kit.
  15. Lincoln got it right, Monogram got it right, you got it right!
  16. That is really nice!! When I was young I thought such subdued colours were absolute dullsville but now I love them.
  17. Fantastic!!!
  18. Great looking model Al! Silver seems to suit a lot of Cadillacs.
  19. Excellent build of a great kit!
  20. Ah yes, a real beauty for sure! And to think that we'll soon have another Ford wagon from this era.
  21. Great looking model! I've never done it but I wish all my models had working lights. Unlike a lot of working features this is a really neat trick that adds to the wow factor without compromising the overall realism.
  22. Another fantastic model from your stunning collection!
