  1. Thanks Jeff, I checked but did not see any Ford boxes on his site so I have emailed him. I'm thinking that I am not the only one who would like to have the option of building the Custom or Sport Custom pick ups.. I am surprised that no one is offering alternate boxes and tail gates for what is a very popular kit.
  2. I agree.. you'd have the set that way..
  3. Just wondering is anyone out there is casting or is thinking about casting the eight foot bed sides for the Moebius '69-72 F100 with the narrow bed side trim as op0posed to the wider XLT trim on the '71 F100 kits? To build a lower line Custom in any of the years, one could use the '69 Cab with it's narrow trim with a resin bed.. Some of us prefer the lower line model cars and trucks so having the option of a long bed box would be nice.
  4. Thanks Richard, I have done that abut there is no place for me to delete the video URL.. The square where the video plays ( or should play ) is there, but I can't delete it. Perhaps one of the moderators can delete it but I can't. It was fine until You Tube, in their infinite wisdom decided to delete that particular video.. In retrospect, it was not such a good idea posting the link to it in my signature - a mistake that you can rest assured I will never make again.
  5. Thanks Xingu, I must be going blind or something because for the life of me, I can not find the "signature" box.. I looked in my profile and edit profile, but that box is nowhere to be seen.. I even tried using a different browser - Opera - I usually use Mozilla.. I may be missing something really visible, but I cannot see it.
  6. I had a link to a music video as my signature but that video has been removed by You Tube. I'd like to remove that dead link but am unable to do so. ANY help will be appreciated.. Perhaps a moderator can do it - but I can't. Thanks. Gary
  7. Moderator - please be so kind as to delete this post. Thank you in advance.
  8. Does anyone have direct contact information for Kurt from Frontier resins aside from his Ebay auctions? I want to communicate about some future casting projects with him without breaking any of Ebay's rules and guidelines. If anyone has a direct email address, please PM me with it. Thanks in advance.
  9. Harry, I seldom am on the site anymore and just stopped by a few minutes ago to check things out. My heart and prayers are with you and it is my sincere wish you well. You have a lot of people praying for you and pulling for your recovery. Gary
  10. Does anyone know if the chassis from the old SMP 1959 and 1960 Pontiac annuals interchange? I know in the 1:1 cars, they platforms are the pretty much the same - just wondering about in styrene?
  11. Thanks Bill. My goal is to build a base bench seat Satellite hardtop like my kid brother used to own. Looking at photos of a GTX and a Road Runner, the tail lights seem very similiar. Could GTX taillights pass for Satellite? Seem to me they may but I would like your opinion. How I wish that I had a photo of my brother's Satellite..*sighs*
  12. Thank you for that information. I appreciate your time.
  13. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what is involved in converting a '69 GTX to a '69 Satellite? I know that the Satellite is a dresses to Road Runner and looking at photos of the GTX and Road Runner, the cars appear similar other than ornamentation and trim. The Road Runner kits are expensive so I was wondering about converting a GTX and making it appear to be a Satellite. Hopefully, someone casts the proper grille..Any suggestions are welcomed..
  14. Posting a couple more for ranma.... BTW, the '60 Impala 4 dr ht was a fairly badly warped promo that Rick managed to greatly improve upon and make presentable again.. proof positive that with enough time, effoprt, patience and love, we can do more than we often think we are able to.. enjoy: Someone really needs to cast a good '59 and '60 Sort Sedan.. and Nomad wagons from '50 - 61.... -
  15. Uploaded for Ranma... here you go Rick,
  16. Seems pretty reasonable to me! A good idea!!! Gets my vote!! Actually, there could be a few additions such as seperate forums for exotics and imports but lets do it one step at a time.
  17. WOW!!!!!!!!! That is so cool!!!!!!!!!! May I ask what you are using for q chassis and interior for thie or is it strictly curbside? If this could be reverse enginered to a close semblance of stock, it sure would be a unique addition as a delivery vehicle for a small corner grocery store - or a hearse for a funeral home for dwarfs? Just kidding... but the questions are serious as is the suggestion for a somewhat stock looking build..
  18. I wonder if someone hacked his account? Even for that seller, that price seems a little bit high... I think you about nailed it Tom..
  19. No - I wasn't serious - just sickened by..?? greed???? stupidity...??? wishful thinking....??? I see a fair amount of that sort of BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH on Ebay where the greed factor has gone into hyperdrive with a lot of sellers...... Sometimes I'm tempted to email sellers like that one and say something - but I can't think of anything nice to say... except that if that seller isn't on drugs - he should be ...... I'll leave it at that...
  20. Have a look on Ebay and they don't have to be old for someone to be willing to pay for them. Some sellers want as much for an empty box as what the whole kit should be selling for.. I amnot saying that they are getting what they want but you gotta give 'em "A" for effort..
  21. OK - try this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/161532847040?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2FAutomotive-%2F2580%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D161532847040%26_rdc%3D1#ht_2143wt_868
  22. I can't believe that I missed this deal!!!! I found it in the last seconds and tried to get my bid in but...... Who says there are no good deals on Ebay... eBay item number: 161532847040
