  1. My cats have thier toys, I have mine, and they know the difference ...well,most of the time!
  2. I need some interior pics of the rear seat, sides panels, and package tray for an 87-93 Mustang. ( I know they dare different depending on year, but I am NOT picky) Need to make an interior for the coupe ! TIA!
  3. Why not just make your own? There are TON"S of DIY's articles on making Dehydrators on the net. Personally I think the DIY's for making an egg incubator would actually work best. As they are designed for maximum adjustability. The benefit to making your own, is that you can make it as big or small as you want. Just a thought.
  4. The Actual car had an aftermarket shifter...
  5. Fixed the front bumper... Well, sort of! Got a little done on the hatch, then I realized it needs to be an Automatic... Hmm.. How to proceed?
  6. That's looking very nice! I think, that I have a red one around here that i started at about the same time you started that one...
  7. Wouldn't the Monroe Handler Mustang II have predated this car though?
  8. I refuse to go into chat rooms, it seems everytime I do, my computer gets a virus.
  9. It's definately a sign, the model does not want to be that color.
  10. Ahem, He can't even follow the forum rules, and post his REAL name in his sig, how sincere can he really be about being a contributing member? ...Just sayin....
  11. Quick update: Got the donor body, for the coupe. I now have the engine bay and rear bumper roughed in. I had to primer the body, as I was begining to go cross eyed staring at the sea of white... It would appear I still have a little work to do on the front bumper...
  12. I haven't read the whole thread, so appologies if this has been suggested, but under the trades column, could we get a seperate listing for good and bad traders? That way we won't clutter the trades wanted ads with these good trader bad trader alerts.
  13. Something not mentioned... As for the Monogram /Revell Mustangs. It was mentioned that the steering wheel changed, for the air bag cars 90 +, but so did the steering column. So while the 93 Cobra includes the air bag steering wheel... None of the kits have the right steering column for an airbag car. You would need to make your own, or customize one to fit.
  14. Nothing so exotic. It's just a 93 Cobra, with a custom nose, and rear hatch spoiler.
  15. I believe the "Droop" is mostly an optical illusion. The lower portion of the front bumper should be deeper in the rear and less in the front which would make it more like a point. The lower portion of the front bumper on the resin body is flat, or possibly even smaller in the rear then the front, which makes it appear to be "drooping. The body moldings line up, and a stock hood sits (mostly) flat.
  16. Not sure what you mean? Do you have a head on shot of yours? I think, that it does, as the right headlight bucket is almost 1mm smaller then the left. Which is why I kept the front buckets it came with. I could have swapped the whole front end, but because the right side is smaller it would not mate up like it should have.
  17. So...ahm yeah, let's talk about why I have not made much progress on my fox entry shall we? I seem to keep getting sidetracked, by a couple of LX coupes, instead of working on the Hatch I should be working on... The AF/X resin Mustang LX Coupe, as received... This thing is REALLY showing it's age! Mods include reworked quarter windows, new trim, new lower front bumper,New "grille bar", new front "A" pillers, reworked rear bumper (still need to add the Mustang), filled mirror slots, and soon (possibly) a new engine bay (Once I figure out where the mail man delivered the package containing the donor bodies too! ). After Mods... (Maybe I should send it back to them, and have them recast it, when I am done! ) And here is the Hatch that I should be working on... I did get to work on it a little last Sunday, so some more of it is painted. Here's the interior, so far... So ah anyway...
  18. I didn't know Floyd, but I would offer my condolences to his friends and families. And for Floyd: May your paint jobs be perfect, your glue never run, your chrome be shiny and your windows never show finger prints. R.I.P. Floyd.
  19. I fear that, if you divide the categories too much, you'll have areas that never get posted in. And why have a category no one posts in?
  20. Any one have a tip for doing the "tweed" seat inserts in the later model GT and LX's?
  21. I am sure they will release the 2010 Mustang, and then Update it to the 2011 Shelby or Rousch later on. They'd be silly not to. I am surprised, by the 85 SVO kit, they are re-releasing. I am going to have to pick up a few of those, for my self.
  22. Psst...There are holes in the frame, for the exhaust. just in case you missed it.
  23. I used to use Ambroid Plastic cement, but now I can not find it. So I now use Super glue almost exclusively. The trick is ... 1. Buy the bottles and needle tips from you Local hobby or craft store. 2. Wipe away all excess imediately. 3. Buy the Super glue Debonder. then you can wipe up spills, and clean up dried messes. 4. Use the Accelerator, to prevent fogging. 5. Go to your local hardware store, and get a torch tip cleaner. Then when the nozzle does clog, you have something to clear out the clog with.
