VERY nice Len. Build more Drag cars buddy. Bob
-
Super nice Digger! I love the paint scheme and the fact that your buddy hooked you up so you could build the car you wanted. Love the SOHC too. Everything about is scream yesteryear. The way it's supposed to. Well done my 1320 loving Amigo! Bob

I don't normally respond to Asian builds of any kind but this is an OUTSTANDING build. It was a title that peaked my curiosity. Imaginative and well executed. Put the wheels you spoke of on it with some brake dust and call it a day. Well done. Bob
-
If I build mine soon I'll have this one to use as inspiration. It's that good. Well done, and I'll be picking up the Slixx decals as well. They look better than the kit ones for sure. Bob

Looks great to me Caine. Your stuff is always so cool. Where are the Firestones from? I've seen these on quie a few cars, but I've never seen these in a kit. Bob

Beautiful ressurection Curt. I built this many moons ago and I remember it being very tricky. I built this and the 6 wheeler and they both fell off the shelf when lightning hit my TV antennae believe it or not. Looks great. Bob

Looking good Charlie. Let's see your braid in action. I'l be buying some fairly soon. Bob

The man with the plan. It all sounds great. Orange is the color of the month. I'll be watching. Bob

I'm watching this with great enthusiasm. Your mock ups and parts look right on the money. Caine is a great sourse for all thing Sox & Martin. Keep it up. Bob
-
Outstanding car Caine! I've been watching this build and that is a unique car to have on the shelf. How many have one? What's the next project? Bob

I am basically finished with this car. I do have to add the throttle bits and they are all mocked up. But I took these pix last night and wanted to show them here. I'm very proud to have this in my collection now, but it's back to the Reher Morrison build for me, then it's a break from Drag Racing cars. I have a Baldwin Motion Camaro and a 67 Impala that I want to build so the Drag cars will be taking a back seat for a while after the RM is complete. I'll post PAU pix with the throttle added in the "Under Glass" section when the work has been done. Thanks for playing along and all the nice commentary. Bob

Does anyone know this guy personally? I ask because I have PM'd him and e-mailed him about our trade from early Jan. He has not been on since Jan 28th so I was wondering a couple of things. Is he OK? Did he stiff me? Has anyone else traded with him in the past with a good result. His not being logged in since the 28th should be a cause for a little concern at any rate. I'm not one to sully anothers name, and I don't intend it here but it has been a while. Bob

Gerald Wingrove indeed! You are the Heir Apparent Mario. I'm enjoying this very much. Bob
-
Well Shane. You have done it my friend. This is an exquisite build of a SUPER rare car. I've enjoyed this build, from your first post to this end piece. Between you and Teresi, I'm gonna completely scatchbuild something soon. I've officially got the bug. SUPERB BUILD MY FRIEND. Bob

Well John, you are either the most PROLIFIC modeler in history, or you are slowly showing us what you already have built. LOLZ Either way, another great build of a unique car. I must ask though. Your technique for tire lettering is the best I have ever seen. It looks a tad worn and the color is just right. Care to share the "how to"?. Bob

Well JS, whatever you choose for a motor you're off to a grand start. Should be another winner like the Plymouth. I'll be watching. Bob -
PRO MOD Mustang one that will be finished(DONE)

Going full frame hog on this one eh! It's looking great. I was thinking you'd be using some kit supplied frame, but this is going to be FAR nicer! Watching with great interest. Bob -
WOAH! That is killer! The paint looks superb. Great execution of a tough scheme. Who made the decals? This is one I'll be watching. Bob
-
Yep, I painted it with Tamiya rattle can, but clear coated it with Testors 1814. That's what I'm waiting for to dry. Those are the kit decals on there. VERY thin and take only a few seconds in tepid water to release. Not a bad set of decals all things considered. As opposed to say the Blue Max reissue. Those decals should have been re-done. They are not even long enough for the body. Thanks for nice words. Bob
-
Thanks John... Coming from a Master, that is high praise indeed. After it is polished and all the little bits are on I will be pleased. You're right about it not being an "easy" kit. Still have to finish my Garlits 1-R build which languishes on the shelf mocking me. This site has taken my building to the next level, and your builds have inspired me so I thank you for that. Bob
-
Coupla body on shots. I'm getting antsy to finish this so I can break out the Reher Morrison again. Bob
-
I built this when it first came out. Gosh, that was a while ago.... This looks great. Still a classic kit. Bob
-
Yet another killer AWB by you! Do you sleep? LOL Not sure if I like this or the Farmer build. Can I have em both? This way I won't have to choose... Bob
-
Now this is VERY nice indeed. The paint is outstanding and the lights do have a look like they're on. I love seeing these old kits done up with modern touches. This is a beautuiful build. Bob

Very cool Mongoose digger.... Thos Slixx decals look very nice on there. I have a set from eBay and while they look good, not quite as nice as Slixx I imagine. But I do have the Snake one as well. Keep building diggers. You have the knack for it. Bob
