  1. So well done..... The details are perfect and your paint is outstanding. These kits can be made to look great and yours is the best I've ever seen. Bob
  2. Certainly not the last time I'll do it George. I was just miffed I didn't get the mention is all. Trolls must be destroyed at all costs!!!! Bob
  3. Wow George. I totally had your back and not even an attboy? Last time I do that. Bob
  4. This is the ONLY site for Automotive modeling. Bob
  5. Something tells me this is the seller. If this is the case, get a grip guy... You want outrageous prices for items that are just not worth what you ask. PLUS, George is DA MAN! NEVER attack cool MCM Forum people, we tend to get each others backs when it happens. Trolls, can't live with em. Can't nuke em. Bob
  6. This is soooo killer... Since I'm a Punisher fan [the comics], this one is near and dear to me. Well done. Bob
  7. Your builds are so much fun Roger. I am impressed with the strides you have made. You are officially my Favorite modeler on this board these days. Keep it up broski. Bob
  8. This is THE build of this car that I have seen. Marcos, ya done great buddy. Bring it to MAMA if you come down. Bob
  9. I used the hallowed Tamiya orange [i used it on my Tommy Ivo build]. The stacks are my own design from K&S stock. I cut 2 different sizes then used a nail setter to make the widened tops. Then, I sanded em at odd angles to create the whacky look. Mostly luck I wager. Thanks. Bob
  10. 1/64th scale? I'm at a loss for words.....really. Bob
  11. I think this is the same kit as the 1/16 Petty Charger.... If so........... I'll be buying at least one of em. This is a VERY welcomed kit IMHO. Bob
  12. Tight little WW there. Keep up the good work. Bob
  13. Says you, looks pretty fancy to me. Well done. Bob
  14. Completely off the Chizzain John! How do you do it? Bravo [again, and again, and again] Bob
  15. I guess there is one born every minute. I paid 425.00 2 years ago for a sealed Aurora VooDoo Vega AA/FC. This is not a common kit in that condition at all and a grail of mine. I happened to be pretty solvent at the time so I bit and bought it. Looking back on it I think I got a pretty fair deal. I got the kit I wanted in a condition better than I'd required. I wasn't nervous opening it. I desperately wanted to make sure everything had survived all those years sealded up. I'm happy to say they did. I promptly sold the decals for a tidy sum since I'm am actually building a Jungle Jim car with this kit. In actuality, I will probably not even use the kits chassis. I have plans on scratchbuilding one that's more accurate to a JJ car. Would I pay it again? Perhaps... Depending on how my resources were at the time I came across it. Is the Aurora kit rarer than that AMT Nova? Yes it is. Is that AMT Nova kit someones grail? Perhaps. But this guy? He's off his rocker. Bob
  16. Gorgeous paint and welcome back. Bob
  17. What a beautuful build Curt. I have had this kit in my hands many times over the years and never built one. Perhaps I'm skilled enough now to give one a go... Where would we get 1/16 carbs and a manifold though???? I'm full of good questions.... Bob
  18. I love a detailed TF motor and that A100 has got a great one. Sweet paint and clean execution as well. Welcome to the forums, you'll fit in quite nicely here. Bob
  19. This was a fun build. Enjoy. Bob
  20. A couple more pix as it's nearly finished. I stripped the trunk and am going to mask it for super clean lines. All that's left is the gas tank. I white washed the sign on top, added flat red, then distressed it. Looks pretty cool. This has been a LOT of fun..... Bob
  21. Looks like a tough decal scheme. You pulled it off quite nicely. Bob
  22. Almost done now. I'd say 2 sessions at the bench will wrap this up. A very fun build with ZERO issues. OK, maybe I could have straightened the wires a bit, they slanted the mag a bit. No biggie really considering the nature of the subject. Perhaps they could have made a distinct line on the fender upholstery to define it a bit more. I freehanded it and it looks cool but a nice crisp line would have been much better. Decals, fenders, gas tank and headers are all that's left. Still have to get the trunk staps painted... She'll be in the showroom next post. I had a lot of fun. If you have one, what are you waiting for? Bob
  23. I think it's tight... After all, the cars we replicate ARE metal..... Metal is a good thing. I should know. I've been a METAL guitarist all my life. No ill affects as of yet. Bob
  24. This is looking VERY good Roger!!!! Why does that scoop look familiar????? You done real good buddy..... Let's get some full injection on the next build.... I know ya wanna... Bob
  25. I'm thinking it ROCKS!!! The apron seems fine to me. Your frame is looking good so keep going with your own vision on it. Color choice? Sponsorship perhaps? I'll be watching. Bob
