  1. Is that the body style also called ‘dopplekaben’ or some similar…double cab I assume.
  2. Definitely after my two moves since 2017 (AZ to Ohio in 2017, to a new house in Ohio in 2023) there are things that I'm not sure exactly where they are...but there are probably in a moving box in one of 3 locations around the house and garage. But there a couple kits--new kits I bought in the last year or so--that I have no idea where they are--I recall one being in a very distinctively sized/shaped shipping box (AMT Ford Garbage truck) but I haven't found it since last years' move...
  3. I believe so. There were pictures in a thread from months ago somewhere on here.. appears to be the Monogram 1/24 3n1 kit with a solid roof and other changes.
  4. I think this one represents a later model--the grille has 4 vertical segments, the California Hauler version has 3.
  5. Maisto made them in 1/64 and 1/43, not sure if they did 1/24th or not..
  6. They clarified on Facebook, Sunday November 10th. https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=detroit area auto modelers
  7. I have seen coyotes come out of the woods behind my house early in the morning and late in the evening...I keep an eye out when I have my dogs out, as they could easily scale a 4ft fence. Lots of wildlife even in suburbia... My 2 acres extends into the woods, beyond the woods is a park, a golf course and a subdivision..
  8. I tend to use YouTube for entertainment purposes only, but I have found some useful content such as the reset procedure for my hot tub remote (that I couldn't find in the paper manual), and something related to my Jeep that I can't remember..
  9. Neat, a Citicar. I saw a yellow one in traffic in downtown LA about 20 years ago. Tiny.
  10. Opposite side of the state for me..I do want to go one of these years, though. Going to the Detroit show the weekend after...
  11. Big trucks used the V12 aka 'Twin Six'.
  12. Fake content from fake people for fake people.
  13. Looking forward to it, planning to drive over from Cleveland.
  14. I noticed even commercial vans and cutaway vans have power windows. Had a variety of Transit vans, E-series and Savanna box trucks from Penske last year with my move and they all had power windows.
  15. Got lots of fall color in my backyard today here in NE Ohio.
  16. My ‘14 Grand Cherokee Limited is almost to 80k. Still looks and runs great, I can’t get enthused by the WL generation that replaced it, so I’ll be keeping it indefinitely as my winter car and for hauling stuff. My ‘19 Cadillac CT6 is almost to 60k, it’s my primary and road trip car. My ‘87 Mustang GT is at 65k and my occasional weekend fun car. I may buy a late model sports car for another fun car in the next few years.
  17. Got a box from Amazon today, everything looked ok but the cookies were broken.
  18. Yeah, probably why most everything today has power windows...not enough demand for manual windows to be cost effective. In the US I can't imagine there is much demand for manual windows.
  19. Probably costs. Cheaper this way.
  20. I've seen a lot of pics of builds without the quarter windows, always wondered if it was people too young to know the originals didn't roll down. Similar to the quarter windows on the '69-70 Mustang Sportsroof body style..
  21. I believe it's the side window opening, the drip rail has too much of an arch and curve compared to the 1:1...
  22. When I was living in Phoenix, it seems like car batteries would last 1-2 years at most for me. About 15 years ago, I was commuting 50 miles a day in a 200k mile '84 Mercedes S-Class, it never let me down.. The original battery in my 10 yr old Jeep (which I bought in Phoenix as a CPO 7 years ago and it had come from So Cal), recently died, pretty amazing, never had a battery last over a decade (had a date on Nov 2013 on it). Ohio's climate is milder, of course, is part of the longevity. Not sure if the battery in my new-to-me 5 yr old Cadillac is original, I think it is in the trunk.
  23. It's billed as a '70 Torino GT on FB, about the only things Torino-ish is the hood scoop and roofline, the front reminds me of a '70 Challenger grille set into a Buick W nose..
  24. I kind of like the styling on this one, made the rounds on FB pages...
