  1. From months of triple digit heat to four distinct seasons was one of the reasons I moved away from the desert 7 years ago.
  2. Days go by.
  3. Hours it can take to cook a good meal.
  4. DoorDash and Grubhub had too many errors with deliveries, thus generally I've found UberEats to be preferable, at least in my area.
  5. Different generations..the LJ was a facelift of the LC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Torana
  6. I've seen that on valet signs. I've never tried to valet park one of my manual trans cars, though. I learned to drive in the mid 80s in both automatics and manuals (my Dad's '79 Dodge Power Wagon 4x4 pickup, '85 Lincoln Town Car, and '84 Ford Escort diesel w/ 5spd manual), have owned several manuals (2 Fox body Mustangs, a Bronco II, an E36 BMW M3). Still have my '87 Mustang GT w/ a manual and drive it occasionally. My current primary vehicles have modern smooth automatics--my Jeep GC has a ZF 8 speed and my Cadillac a 10 speed.
  7. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007395526458 I usually send him a message through Facebook (his profile is the link above). He sent me a catalog w/ my latest purchase of '69 and '70 Rancheros.
  8. Yes, he does. '67 and '68 coupes, along w/ variations like the California Special and Shelby Green Hornet.
  9. Neat...I vaguely remember the 1:1 car from magazines and the kit, will be nice to see one built.
  10. I'll probably get one of each..the stock 2dr sedan would be nice w/ a slant 6.
  11. Cosmetically the big difference is the rear bumper w/ continental kit and porthole roof on the '56 and absence of those on the '55. I like this really clean '55:
  12. I pretty much only stream and am selective w/ what I watch... I like Apple TV+, various channels on Prime (Acorn, BritBox, MhZ, PBS Masterpiece, Paramount+, etc) and occasionally Netflix and Hulu. I like YouTube for music and music documentaries, along w/ a bunch of automotive channels.
  13. I have been impressed by the quality of product I've bought out of Ukraine in recent years... I don't have any interest in Tuckers, but the items I've bought originating from Andrey Berezodny designs, USCP, and DioLex have all been excellent.. it is interesting how Ukraine seems to be a hotbed of 3D designers of vintage American products...
  14. Sad to hear this. RIP
  15. The red box one...had a big hood scoop.
  16. It’s funny, I picked up an unbuilt ‘72 SSlasher at a show last year. Molded in black.
  17. On a long weekend break down in SE Ohio on the river in Marietta and saw several interesting cars the last couple days. An early 00s Thunderbird, an MG-B in my hotel parking lot along with a 1st gen Honda Insight—haven’t seen one of those in forever. And a C8 coupe. Saw an ‘70 Mustang notchback w/ Mach 1 style stripes while driving, and a black ‘72 Chevelle in nice shape. Last pic is my Caddy—very comfortable road trip car.
  18. Me too. I had 2 on preorder from them, 2 from Model Roundup. Also got 2 from Auto World.
  19. Pretty quick, within a week. USPS. I preorder and order from them all the time…
  20. A bunch of new Round 2 releases and one oldie (MPC Monza) came in the mail today… Also got some neat ‘70 Chevelle and ‘72 GTO parts from Canuck 3D.
  21. Gorgeous..I want one.
  22. Took a scenic drive out east of my area to the rolling hills of Geauga County and Lake County, Ohio and saw a sharp apple green ‘69 Chevelle and a bright blue ‘65 Chevelle 2dr sedan. Stopped at a couple overlooks on Lake Erie, the water still blustery from all the storms this week…
