  1. Yes..they are bunch of ignorant right wing rednecks....that's America...there have been many articles on this phenomenon.
  2. Not to mention the time that kids would have been interested in a General Lee snap kit was 30-35 years ago.. ( I know--in the early 80s as a kid I built the MPC 1/25th and 1/16th General Lee kits).
  3. Looking at the instruction sheet that was posted, this looks like a simple new-tool snap kit--hood molded in, etc. Probably no parts in common w/ the old kit.
  4. And it's polluting...I've read the police are ticketing these imbeciles in some areas...morons.
  5. I assume it's the '73-74 style body like the Petty kit but w/ different decals. It's listed on Tower Hobbies as late September.
  6. Yeah, too many armed nutjobs around here...I wouldn't try any move like that..too easy to slip into road rage...
  7. Or use against vampires...
  8. Yeah...a while back on another podcast I heard cars w/ manual transmissions referred to as 'clutch cars'...sounded odd also.
  9. Yes..that must be it..does sound strange to the ears, though.
  10. One funny aside..listening to a tech podcast and they are talking about the upcoming Model 3, and they are referring to non-electric cars as 'engine cars'...as in 'the Model 3 will be targeting fans of popular entry luxury engine cars such as the BMW 3-series, Mercedes C-class, etc...' Strange to hear the term 'engine car'...
  11. On the freeway yesterday and this morning I encountered 'non committal exiters'...i.e. people driving along in an exit lane that decide they don't want to exit...then cut back in front of me w/ no signals at the last minute before the split..arrrgggh. I try and stay in the center lane, but usually get over in the far right before the freeways end/split.
  12. I have one that was made by Time Machine Resin, it's a nice piece. I have the Modelhaus 4dr ht also.
  13. This one is a snap kit, I believe?
  14. That's a beautiful build...would love to see a '73-74 Chevy longbed pickup kitted.
  15. The MPC was a '78..different grille. The '73/74 style was never kitted.
  16. Well, they've announced a lot of new and modified tools this year..it will probably be more than enough to take them into next year...at least 8 pending releases by my count..(2 Hudsons, 2 Pontiacs, Mercury Comet, Plymouth Satellite, and 2 Ford pickups)...
  17. It's molded in a bright blue, almost Petty blue w/ some parts molded in black.
  18. People should have to take a competency test before getting internet access...too many imbeciles online.
  19. I remember the Porsche in the '90s in Revell AG packaging, shown in blue IIRC.
  20. On the way back from dinner tonite saw a '90s Blazer/Tahoe 2dr w/ a Ford 'Super Duty' trim applique on the tailgate. Don't know if it had a Super Duty grille up front, didn't see the front. Weird. Also saw a primered, stripped '61-62 Olds F85 2dr at a body shop.
  21. Ick...cheesy headlight covers..remember the stupid black out headlight covers that were popular in the '80s-90s?
  22. An LTD II conversion would be neat.. I like the optional graphics on this one..
  23. 1980, I believe..and that's probably a JDM-specific grille...US market ones seemed to have a grille with 'TOYOTA' block lettering.
  24. Really good deal on the JPS...I got mine for $75 at a show a few years ago, well below retail..
