  1. There are a few choices in resin, but I'd love to see some full detail kits of cars like the '57 Buick Century 2dr ht or '57 Olds 88 2dr ht....great looking cars, IMO.
  2. Elite...the Elite was basically a Cougar body w/ single headlights and different grille.
  3. Neat subjects...IIRC, wasn't one of the AMT boats reissued in the late '90s?
  4. Neat. Those Studies were such good looking cars, very ahead of their time compared to the many lumpy cars of that period, IMO..
  5. Maybe it's a replica of Lucas wiring, but does it have in-scale wiring smoke? http://www3.telus.net/bc_triumph_registry/smoke.htm Pretty funny reading on Lucas wiring...http://www.peizhang.com/forfun/forfun_writings_smoke.htm
  6. That's pretty cool....I've seen a Cayman race car in pink pig graphics.
  7. Yes, such is life as a web developer...I have to deal w/ Java versions, browser versions, etc every day at work.
  8. I built that kit as a kid also...it's a wild one, lots of parts...
  9. Sharp...I like the color and wheel & tire choices.
  10. Rancheros would be neat to see...IIRC, a couple resin casters made them back around 1997-2000 or so...IIRC, the Modelhaus had a '70 and Mini Exotics had a '66 or '67.. I'd like to see a '68-69 Ranchero as well as a '70-71.
  11. The Modelhaus parts are Torino Cobra parts, though, from the original AMT annuals. Not GT parts.
  12. The MCRC looks nice, but it's a coupe..this thread is about the fastback body like the Johan kit...
  13. Nope..if you google pics of 1:1 1969 COPO Camaros, they have the cowl induction hood...
  14. The pre-prod pics Revell has shown shows the cowl induction hood like the Z/28 kit.
  15. Revell did the '70 GT and Cobra, AMT's '70 & '71 kits were Cobras (note that besides the Motor City Stocker kit, AMT also did full detail '70 & '71 Torino Cobras, they came w/ the Boss 429 engine). As far as I can tell from pics online, the '71 GT had two different grilles available--a split grille with exposed headlights, and a hidden headlight grille that looks like the '70 GT hidden headlight grille but w/ a vertical rectangular emblem in the center instead of the round emblem on the '70.
  16. I bought a resin one about 10 years ago, pretty nice... I can't recall the resin caster, but I got a '71 Dodge Demon from him also IIRC. Scale Coachworks, maybe? But then I snagged a Johan snap kit.
  17. Wow..that one is hideous. The old AAM one I have is pretty decent.
  18. Pretty quiet today, but it's still out there, new URL though.. http://client0.addonchat.com/chat.php?id=12510
  19. Yep...long time ago..
  20. Neat..never had this kit, wouldn't mind seeing it reissued.
  21. Foose is of the modern era, though....Barris is known for tacky junk from 40-50 years ago.. Winfield is long retired isn't he? Not familiar with Agostino. As far as modern day customizers, Moal is doing some interesting things.
  22. Bandit Resins makes a '79, and Perry's Resin both makes an '81...but '78-81 were pretty much the same in 1:1 w/ only minor trim differences.
  23. I like that color...someone in my neighborhood just bought one, in that same color. The kit looks good, I've got the Revell New Mini and several of the vintage Mini kits, but don't have the Countryman kit yet...
  24. I've bought a bunch of parts from Harts--those seats, hoods, etc. They have good stuff.
  25. I don't think I've ever seen one of the error Impalas..the ones I have were the corrected later issues.
