I remember tornado warnings from when I lived in Ohio, but never had any happen near me. I don't miss the damp, gray cold winters and humid summers.

I don't think I've ever been bored enough to read newspaper used as packing material.

On the Droid I just use the default web browser. My Droid is almost 2 years old, I'm ready to upgrade..not sure what phone I'll get next, either the Droid 4, Razr or wait and see what the next iPhone on Verizon is like...

I visit the site occasionally from my iPad or my Droid phone....though I usually visit from my Dell laptop or my Mac Book Pro laptop. I'm starting to use the iPad a lot more than the laptops for non-serious computing at home because it's so lightweight..

I wonder what compels some people to cover their cars in gaudy aftermarket junk.

I saw someone posting a neat resin transkit of a similar '69 Camaro wagon (for use w/ the Revell '69) on one of the Facebook groups recently..looked neat.

Nice..I built a Testors kit (was it a Fujimi rebox) of this style RX-7 probably 20 years ago or so....a roommate of mine in college had a white '87, nice car...I drove it a few times.

Open it up, check to make sure nothing is missing or warped/broken. If it's a kit that is new to me, I'll spend extra time checking out the instructions, body, etc. I always seem to want to set the body/interior/chassis together. Then I'll assign it an inventory number, enter it into the spreadsheet, make some notes as to how I want to build it, put it into the to-build closet. Periodically, I empty the closet by packing kits into 14x14x16 storage boxes (8-10 per box) which go off to the storage unit..

What I've heard elsewhere is the release was cancelled.

Sharp build..the unusual color combination reminds me of '60s vintage Corgi or Matchbox diecast.

The glassy cab reminds me of early Hot Wheels trucks, and some of Matchbox's '70s Superfast trucks. Also Tonka trucks of the era...

It looks like a Japanese kit of a '60s vintage Japanese tanker truck.

It would be interesting to replace the custom cab of the transport truck w/ a Dodge L700 cab... the custom cab reminds me a lot of early Hot Wheels custom trucks.

I've never heard of this one... Round 2 is going to reissue it this year. (It's mentioned in the latest Round 2 newsletter).

The canned response (didn't even change 'card' to 'kit') indicates they are clueless about what they are selling. If they are too lazy to research the market price of the products they are selling, they don't belong on eBay.

Ventilation..I've read that many GM models adopted a flow-through ventilation system for '71 (the new-for-'71 B-,C-, and E-bodies and the Vega, for instance) but most moved to a different design in '72 (after issues w/ the '71 design including draftyness) but maybe the Vega kept it a bit longer? Or MPC didn't update their tooling..

Looking at his other auctions, he sells mostly sports cards.. he probably has no clue about model kits or model kit pricing and just makes up random numbers.

I wonder why he has all the box top photos posted on end...clueless about uploading photos, I guess...

Sneaky..he changed his price..I clicked the link in the first post a couple hours ago, and the price was $99. That's what this thread was about.
