  1. What a perfect combination of parts. The whole thing just flows. I also love the contrast of the yellow interior with the red. Later-
  2. Holy Cow!!! Fantastic job. I love Janis. She was an original. Later-
  3. I would say that is a possibility. The funny thing is that in the glass runners from the front to back Windows it says "Camero" molded in it (spelled with an E) I have plans to strip it and rebuild it as a strip burner. I'm missing the front tires and wheels. Later-
  4. I went to a 1:1 auto swap meet today. I knew someone had to be selling kits and I was right.Prices varied from outrageously high (in my mind) to reasonable. I found two bags with two built kits each. Each had a car that I wanted. One had a 68 Camaro and one had a 63 Vette hardtop. The Camaro interested me because it had the hidden headlights grille and red tinted windows. I haven't seen those options in a kit before. Any idea what kit the Camaro is? Later-
  5. I'm going to love this. It is one of my favorite Ford body styles and knowing your building skills, it will be outstanding. Later-
  6. Woke up to an inch of snow and still coming down hard!! Later-
  7. I love the look of it. Great job. Later-
  8. Dennis- It turned out great. The body color with the black wheels is perfect. I love everything about it. Glad I could help to get it finished. If you ever need anything else, don't hesitate to ask. Later-
  9. Oh yes. I remember that one. I have photos of it bookmarked for reference for my 41 Chevy pickup. Later-
  10. Nice start. Can't wait to watch it progress. Do you have a link to the Impala? Later-
  11. Looks like you're making quick work of it. What color are your stripes? I always liked the 70 1/2. I built mine as a convertible. Keep it up. Later-
  12. [quote name="disabled modeler" post="1164951" If i run across another will shoot you a PM.
  13. Charlie- Nice work so far. I'm sure you will be able to make the deadline. To answer (or second) your question about painting Testors One Coat lacquer over bare plastic. It worked just fine for me. When the paint line first came out I used their Root Beer on a 68 Firebird directly on the bare plastic and it came out beautiful. It was actually the smoothest paint job I had done to date. As a matter of fact I sprayed the Wet Look clear on as soon as I sprayed the last wet coat. I was quite proud of it. Keep up the nice work. 14. Nice, smooth paint. Very nice progress. Later-
  15. Nice score! I hate you. I wanted that so much. I think you PM'ed him about 20 minutes before I did. I've been looking for one to build a model of my high school buddy's car. Later-
  16. Interesting change. I like the idea. Can't wait to see the progress. Definitely go with the second wheels. Later-
  17. Nice color choice. Looks like it will be something out of the normal. Later-

I do like the unusual paint scheme on this one. It's always good to see something different in a sea of red. I really like the color on the dash. I may need to get one and do a similar paint scheme. Later-
  19. Rich, I'm loving everything about this build. The paint color and pinstriping is gorgeous! I really appreciate the photos of your engine. I had the same basic idea for the engine in my 41 Chevy pickup but was unsure about the look of the intake setup. Your build confirmed for me that it will look great. Thanks. Later-
  20. Good to have you here. Sounds like you have a plan for the El Camino. I am currently working on a 66 myself. Keep it up and let US see the photos as you progress. Later-
  21. This build is simply stunning. The level of detail is astounding. What a build. Later-
  22. That is looking great, but I can't wait to see it with the tires and wheels on it...... Later-
  23. I'm all for a new tool 67-68 Camaro with multiple build options. I think the last two posters are correct in that it could be a serious money maker due to the many build versions that are possible. COME ON. DO IT. NOW! Later-
  24. Very nice job on the chop. Can't wait to watch this one progress. Later-
  25. Although I look forward to Spring and Summer to be able to work a bit more comfortably in my shop (no real good heat source) and finally get some painting done on my builds I have quite a bit of chores planned for me too. I also just got a call from an elder in our congregation and we agreed that I would prepare a 30 minute talk to give on May 18. Just over a month away!!! Looks like I won't be spending as much time focused on my model building over the next few weeks as I had planned. Too bad I have shirked this off for the last year. Later-
