  1. Fantastic. And no need to apologize. I like seeing this one. Later-
  2. That is outstanding. I really like the rear end treatment. Completely different from the normal Mustang look but fits the style of your build very well. The paint work is amazing. Later-
  3. That is amazing. Not only is it a beautiful build but great pictures too. Later-
  4. Looks great. What paint did you use for the interior? Later-
  5. Well I've been working on it during lunch over the last couple of days. It is a lot easier than I first thought. I used the end of a wooden broom handle to shape the head. One or two more lunch breaks and I should have it finished. Later-
  6. Well, I've been looking at this thing and thinking "Go ahead. You've got nothing to do for the next week." Then my sensibleness kicks in and says " What are you talking about? You've been too lazy to wire the distributor on the 66 El Camino for the last month." Can't argue with that. Later-
  7. Cool. Looks like a wide selection. I like how they say "this"--"becomes this". Yeah right....If it were only that easy. I think after trying one of these Cousin It would look like Telly Savalas! Later-
  8. I know that it isn't a car, but I know there are many on here that would be interested in this. My friend just gave it to me and said that there is a few different types. I'm sure I'll be pulling my hair out with this. Later-
  9. It looks like you got it nailed. That body looks great. Later-
  10. That looks great. Love the paint job. Later-
  11. That is looking perfect. Great work for your 4th build. Maybe I missed it, but what color are you leaning towards for the body? Later-
  12. I also know your frustration with breaking the airbrush. I did that with mine the other day when all I had left to paint was the spoiler for the rear of my RSX. If I had gotten it painted on Thursday I could be polishing it on Monday during lunch. But NO. That couldn't be the case. Oh well. Looking good so far. Keep it up. Later-
  13. Did a quick mock up today. Went to spray the Nova Orange on the rear wing and my airbrush isn't working. I don't have any time today to tear it down. More later. Later-
  14. Yes, it is the Revell Tuner Series RSX. It's a nice kit with lots of optional parts. 3 sets of wheels and I believe 2 sets of body kits along with the stock parts. Fit has been great so far. Later-
  15. I just took some pictures with the flash to show the metallic better. Later-
  16. I've been working on this one along with a bunch of others. I attached the body kit on it ages ago and modified the rear wing.I got some more paint on it today. Paint is a base of Krylon Sunburst yellow that I sprayed way back in the beginning. Today I decided I didn't like it and covered over it with HOK Nova Orange. Of course I had to break the wing today right before painting so it is being repaired. Once the paint dries I will mock it up with my modified wheels for a photo. I am putting a bit of custom stereo touches in the rear. I also managed to get a couple of coats of Tamiya gloss black on my 30 Ford Woody 4 door pickup today. Stay tuned. Later-
  17. Thanks everyone for the help. Now to find a nice 63-66 builder to put the wheels on. Later-
  18. Can anyone tell me what kit these parts go to? The licence plate reads 1963. I imagine that they are to a Mopar of some sort. I love the wheels pictured in the close up and have a vision of putting them on something like a 65 Polara or a Newport. Any help? Later-
  19. Glad to see you are doing a version of this car. I have wanted to do a model of it for a couple of years now. Your build is looking spectacular. Sorry about the issue with the hood. I'm sure it will turn out great. Beautiful interior too. Later-
  20. My buddy gave me this recently. What a friend. We then debated on what way to build it. 1. Push car for a 60's front engine dragster. 2. Push car for a 34 Ford Bonneville car. 3. 60's surf wagon. I'm leaning towards 3 or 1. Later-
  21. I don't have any advice but that is a beautiful resin piece. Who made it? I'll be watching this one. Later-
  22. This will probably be a curbside since someone cut out the front wheel wells and part of the cowl below the windshield. I also got to looking and I don't have a frame in this kit. I may have one in my parts box. Thanks for the link. I never knew anyone built a 1:1, let alone several. I was just going off of the Stanford drawing online. Later
  23. Starting a new project. Using a design drawing from Steve Stanford that I saw years ago. Chopped the top yesterday and dropped he front of the trunk area a bit. Still early on this project. Later-
  24. That looks fantastic and I love the paint. What brand did you use? Later-
  25. Neither. One on the left says "80's Camaro" One on the right says "Dukes of Hazzard". No offense, but I say keep looking. Later-
