  1. Well, if you're going to go, you may as well go all the way! Looking great. What kit are the wheels from? I have a set on a custom 53 Ford but never knew where they came from. I'd like to get more of them. Later-
  2. You are off to a great start! Looking good. I'll be watching...and like most others, I would love some 1/25 50's Caddys. Later-
  3. Wow. I like this. Nice work on it. Looks like it's been a long time in the making. Can't wait to see how it comes out. Later-
  4. Curt, Beautiful build. You are doing a great job of replicating this truck. Keep it up. What do I need to do to get one of your superchargers? I've got a few copies of that engine and would love a supercharger for one. Later-
  5. Nice work. I have one of these that I bought as a rebuilder years ago. I did some further mods to it and need to get back on it. I haven't worked on it since about 2000. Later-
  6. That has a good look to it. I say go for it. Later-
  7. Looking good. Looks a lot like one I have going. Mine is painted a light metallic green. Later-
  8. I like it a lot. Was it difficult to do? I am planning out my first, and second custom paint jobs soon. One will be my 41 Chevy pickup that has been in the works for over a year now. Great job on yours. Later-
  9. Man, that is looking good. I like the grille work that you did. Like everyone else I wish they would make this era of pickups available again. Would be great sellers. Later-
  10. Lucky you. I've wanted one of these for years! Yours looks like it's in great shape. I sure wish the model companies would get off their dead rearends and put out some pickup kits from this era. It's not like they don't have a market for them...... Later-

  14. Does somebody have a way to scan a pic of Jairus' Black 30 Ford extended cab woody pickup that was in an old Sketchpad article? The cover of the mag had a closeup of a 29-ish Ford wheel with a Ford hubcap. I am getting close to finishing the build but can't locate my magazine for a reference. I would appreciate it. Later-
  15. That turned out very nice. He should be quite happy with it. Later-
  16. Test. Well, I see it does work for me by using the "choose files" option to add a photo from my gallery. I have lost the ability to "copy img" link from Photobucket. Any ideas why that is, and how to fix it? Later-
  17. The instructions for the Pepper Shaker looks like the parts that I have. The custom.wheel covers are the ones that I have. Thanks for the help. Later-
  18. Just for further clarification the kit has a custom canted headlight front piece and a custom Bill Hines "The Bat" style rear piece. The hood has a giant hole molded in it that is almost the entire top surface. This kit is missing the body and , given the look of the hood, possibly a stock hood. Later-
  19. I just picked up a partial kit of an AMT 57 Chevy without a box or instructions. I am curious about a date of this kit because there are parts that I have not seen before. It is molded in white plastic. I would love to post pictures of it but for some reason I cannot get PB to post. The parts that I have not seen before are the tires and the custom wheel covers. The tires are Firestone Supremes with a thin whitewall on one side and a red line on the other. The wheel covers are chromed and conical shaped with four flat triangle shapes evenly spaced around the face of the wheel. I know that this is an old version because there was also an unopened tube of AMT putty in the box. Any help in a kit date and what the wheel covers are would be great. Thanks. Later-

  21. I picked up this AMT 57 Chevy kit and was curious what year it might be. It didn't have a box, instructions or a body. The custom wheel covers are ones I've never seen and the tires are printed with white walls on one side and red lines on the other. It came with an old tube of AMT putty that is still sealed but no lid. this HTML class. Value is [URL=http://s486.pho
