Great looking build. I like the details in the interior. Where did you get the racing harnesses? I need to get some for a couple of builds. Later-- 16 replies

Got the wheels glued on this morning. Now I'm thinking that I should have painted the inside of the wheels. Not sure why they were not done at the factory since the outside was. This is just with the body sitting on the chassis for mock up. I need to make sure that the front sits lower. I had to make the headlight covers out of clear plastic and paint them black because I never got any headlight buckets with the body, so it is just empty under there. I am going to try today to make my own 5-point racing harnesses for the seats out of pop can aluminum. It won't need to be too detailed due to the fact that you won't be able to see much on the inside.....I hope. See what I mean about the inner side of the wheels? Fine for a shelf model but I don't like it. This last shot shows a bit of the green tint, especially if you zoom in on the hood. Later-

It's all HOK but unsure of what colors. I think the main color is Sunset pearl. I'll have to ask Mike. It's cool because in the sunlight it changes from bright orange to pinkish to a slight green under the orange. Later-

Once I get it completed I'll take some shots outside in the sunlight. This paint job has some funky green and pink undertones. Later-

This is the next one on the list to finish. My Buddy Mike Flynn gave me this painted body ages ago and I have been slowly plugging away at it. Just have the 5 point harnesses to do and I can get all of the sub assemblies put together. I finished the rear taillights today. Later-

Nice looking build. Great wheels for it too. I didn't know Flintstone had this body. Gotta get one. Later-

Just completed a trade with Grzegorz, picking up an AM Gran Sport. First time having this kit and looking forward to it. Great trade with Grzegorz. Thanks! Later-

Nice job. Great mix of parts and scratchbuilding. I've got an old 41 chopped cab that I've been thinking of a similar project somewhere down the line. Later-

Stunning! Simply beautiful work. Later-

Nice builds and great paint. Looks like you've got some clean work going on, but some better lighting would really set this off. Sure wish I could build that cleanly. Mine start off nice but by the end it fall down somewhere. Later-

Wow! I love it. You have done a fantastic job and the color is beautiful. Thanks. Later-

Thanks again guys. I enjoyed most of it. Had problems getting the firewall to fit in place. I believe that it is sitting too far back but couldn't get it to move forward for anything. Later-

Had a great trade with Big Truck (Ken). Would do it again, anyday. Later-

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. The weathering on this one didn't quite turn out as I had planned but, for my shelf it'll work. I never thought of painting the rims white. That may be something to try on the next one. Later-

Nice looking build. Don't see many of these. My neighbor when I was growing up had one of these in Baby blue. One day his wife ran into a forklift that had its forks raised about three feet off the ground. Ran one fork through the passenger side of the windshield and the other ripped about halfway down the length of the passenger door! It was a good thing it was on the passenger side. Later-

I just finished this one this morning. It's been another of my on again, off again projects. I have several in the works. This one, however has taken only a few months. By my calculations I should be able to get another project finished by the end of this year. Banner year for me! I really like how the wheels turned out. Added narrow and deep aluminum sleeves that my Buddy, Mike Flynn gave me. Thanks again Mike! Later-

Simply beautiful in every respect. Great paint and detail work. Later-

That is a cool custom from way back! Glad that it made its way to you. We know that it is in safe hands now. I think that the grille is a very creative change for the front of the Ford. Later-

That is gorgeous Erik! Perfect stance and wheels with a beautiful paint job. Very well done. Later-

What an outstanding build. Great mix of parts topped off with a beautiful paint job. Congratulations on finishing it. BTW- most of my builds are that way. I have been combing through mine to determine which ones need to come back out for finishing. Later-

I was going to say that it looks like it's factory fresh! Nice job on the weathering. Later-

Hey Rob. That 57 turned out nice. Great modifications. I like the removal of the fender peaks. Later-

Definite improvements to the head and tail lights. Good to see you are back on this one. Later-
