Maybe not many comments cause it was still early in the progress and there have been a few of these on the board lately? Who knows? Nice paint choice though. What are your plans for the build? What are those two large pieces under the hoods? Custom fender skirts? I've got to get me one of these kits someday. Later-

It's looking rode hard! Can't wait to see the work on the Mustang too. Later-

That is some beautiful work. Nice weathering and the engine looks so real. Great job. Later-

Maltsr- This pic is about the best to show where I made my cuts. http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/IMG_20130407_102753.jpg If you look at where the putty is it should give you an idea. I cut across the top above the back window and then took out a pie shaped cut from the bottom corner of each rear side window to right about where the trunk begins to curve downward to the rear bumper. That allowed me to push the rear section down into place. I can't guarantee this was the right way to do it, but it worked for me. Later-

Foxer- Me too. I can't wait to throw some primer on it. Thanks. Later-

Here's some shots of this week's work. I've been working on molding in the firewall last night and today. The background is the magazine photo of the area that I am "approximating". Next up is the boxing in of the rear floor and the airbag suspension. It's coming along. Thanks for stopping in. Later-

Gramps- The 62 I have I believe has a dual carb set up. I won't be using that. I do have a few 59-60 Impalas that I'll have to check out. Then again, I may still go with the 6, if I can find some cool parts. BTW- does anyone have a spare Caddy style air cleaner they'd be willing to get rid of? That is what the 1:1 has. Later-

I thought that a 409 would look good too. I may go that route. I've got a spare from a 62 Bel Air floating around. I think a flathead would not be the era I'm looking for. Thanks for the input guys. Later-

Well, still no pics. Perhaps tomorrow. Tonight I got the rear floor boxed in for the suspension and airbags. It sits low enough now in the rear to look right. I also began molding in the firewall. Not a lot of visual progress for the amount of time it takes, but it should start coming along a little quicker now. Next will be to finish the firewall, build a hinge system for the front clip and lower the front suspension. I am trying to decide what to do for an engine. The 1:1 uses a 350 but I had envisioned a hopped up 6. However, with the tilt front end I'm not sure the 6 would fill up enough space to look right. What are your thoughts? Later-

Nice Re-start. I'll have to remember that Nova hood transplant for when I go to build my 67 Camaro. I'll be tuned in. Later-

Looking good. Where are your tires from? Later-

Wow! I'm glad I popped in on this one. That is beautiful. I really like those new Pegasus wheels on that. It has a great stance. Keep it up. Later-

I agree with Erik. I loved the photos until I got to the engine shot and went "huh?". I could be wrong because I can not recall off the top of my head what the RA air cleaner looked like. I'd be surprised if it did look like that. Please don't take this as a slam, as I absolutely LOVE the rest of your build. Great paint work. I'll be looking at yours for ideas when I build mine. I want to do it in Verdoro Green or something similar. Later-

I'm in for wheel #3 but with the paint mentioned in #1 with possibly a red interior. Nice score, BTW. Later-

Tim- Looking good on that motor. Can't wait to see the progress on the body. Like most here I have a story of this kit. About 25 years ago I was at a friends house looking at his stash of kits. I was just getting back into modeling. He told me to pick out one of his kits to have. This is the "turd" I picked out cause the box art was cool. He had poorly primed the body white. That is how the kit sits to this day. Someday I'll get the nerve, and time, to do it right. Later-

Mike- Looking good. The color is a good one for that car. I've always liked the look of the 67 and your build is making me want to get back onto mine. Keep it up. Later-

Thanks for the great comments guys. I got a bit of work done today during my lunch break. I started the work on the rear airbags. I was moving along so nicely that I didn't want to stop when lunch was over. Pictures some time this weekend. Later-

I have been following this from the beginning and I cannot believe how nice this is. Fantastic work. I love the color and the interior, but the wheel choice is my favorite part. Beautiful build. Later-

Thanks to my great friend, Mike Flynn I now have my much needed 56 Packard taillights. I can't wait to start on the rear fender mods to fit the taillights. Thanks Mike! Later-

Oh yeah, Sean. That red DID turn out nice. Love the color. Get these finished so you can start on the Ferrari. Later-

Hey, another local. Sean and I are buddies. I'm in Riverside/Chattaroy. Sean, the Poncho looks great with the decals on it. You've gotten a lot accomplished since last weekend. Looking good. Later-

I did some work on lowering the rear end. I cut out the floor and C notched the frame. Before this the ride height was such that the fender skirt JUST covered the bottom of the wheel. This is closer to the ride height I'm looking for. I will be making an airbag system for this once I get the floor repaired. Later-

Wow! What an idea. Great to see it coming to life. I say keep at it until it's finished (unlike what I do with every project). Later- -
Hey, whatever works. Later-

Wow! looks like a real junker. Congrats. BTW- are you going to have any leftover parts that you want to get rid of? PM me, if so. Later-
