  1. Not sure what direction I'm going with this yet as to a powerplant. I will be removing the legs off of the bottom of the fuel tank which will drop it a bit so as to be blocked by more of the rear wall of the cab. That way it won't be sitting up so high. Later-
  2. Thanks fellas. I'm gonna say this, like I do with most of my builds, but I'm thinking this will be a relatively quick build. Later-
  3. Spent the day putting these parts together from multiple parts bins and parts kits. I'm liking the idea for this. Later-
  4. Well, I like it! Later-
  5. Very cool looking build. I like these paint and the funky nose piece. I came over to the drag section looking for ideas like this one for a chopped and sectioned 39 Ford Sedan body that I have. I think I've found my answer although my plan is for an older 50's- 60's style rail. Perhaps the Tony Nancy 22Jr. Later-
  6. I like that one Joe. Am I correct in saying that you left the body unpainted for the white portion? Later-
  7. Thanks fellas! Glad you like it. Later-
  8. Thanks Kevin. Smooth as silk trade! Any time. Later-
  9. Should be easy enough to cut the individual letters out and rearrange them. Later-
  10. That is BEAUTIFUL work! I love what you have done. It's going to be gorgeous when you get it finished. Later-
  11. Of course. That's why it's taking so long to finish this one. ? Later-
  12. Sounds good. Just let me know. Later-
  13. That's actually a fun little build. I just finished customizing one of those from a different issue. Give me a holler if you need some parts. I have a complete engine and a few other parts left over. Later-
  14. Scott, I love it! The color is gorgeous. Of course I'm partial to it. I have a Monarch Orange 2018 Rogue and this reminds me of the color. Very clean building and finish work. Simply stunning. Later-
  15. I finished the exhaust work yesterday and set the body on to get a look at where I'm at. Right now I'm at a standstill until I can get more of the Testors White Lightning to mist over the body. Then it will be on to BMF and clear coat. Later-
  16. Yes there is. I used the video of it as reference for building this. Thanks guys for the positive comments. Later-
  17. Got this today from Scott8950. Love it! Later-
  18. Another great trade with Scott8950! Thanks Buddy! Later-
  19. Looking good! Like the 70 Impala Cragars much better. Later-
  20. I would place tape along the trim that you want to save (like applying BMF) that way as you sand the tape will protect it. Not perfect, but if you work carefully it should work. Later-
  21. Thanks Scott. I appreciate the comments. Later-
  22. Thanks Sam. They were a bear to get to fit in that narrow area. Later-
  23. Going to be an interesting build. I like the wore wheels and I agree that it looks better with the skirts. Perhaps some chrome inserts in the holes on the hood scoop. Something similar to the chrome inserts on a 68-69 Camaro. Later-
  24. Got the exhaust done and the engine installed. What a tight fit! Now to clean up the mess of glue and finger marks. Later-
  25. Began the exhaust this morning. Going with a dual exhaust system similar to pictures I found online of a Clifford exhaust system. Later-
