  1. I'll have to get me one. I just got several sets of their wheels. Later-
  2. That looks good. Where did it come from? Fink's Garage? Later-
  3. Got some more progress on the engine done. Got to finish wiring the distributor, put the grille/ headlights on and then the steering arm. Later-
  4. Simply amazing work! Just the way I envision mine turning out. This is the way all of these should be built. Love every bit of it and I wouldn't change a thing. Later-
  5. Love the pearl white and the stance! Nice work Jim. Later-
  6. Got some resin VW wheels in the mail today from Fink's Garage. Nice looking wheels (after the normal clean-up). Can't wait to put them on some tires. Later-
  7. Just got a shipment in from Fink's! Great looking wheels. Can't wait to throw them on some tires. Later-
  8. An amazing amount of work done to this and it is simply amazing! Love the look. I'll be watching this one for sure! Later-
  9. Stocked up? That's just what I have sitting in my way on my model table along with 4 or 5 in progress. Don't misunderstand that- I have dozens in progress, just 4 or 5 on my bench. Lol! Later-
  10. Might actually get to the bottom of a stack? I haven't bought much but I have traded a lot so far this year. I can actually only recall buying a couple. So far this year I have built 4(?) and about ready to finish another. The good thing about this latest build is that I am using up things from my parts boxes. But there is no fear of running short on those. Later-
  11. Making progress. Getting the engine put together. I need to make some engine and tranny mounts now. I'm liking the necker knob. Later-
  12. My favorite of the tri-5 series. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this. I have one in my stash that someone cut a section of the roof (total of about 2 inches from the front to the back). I repaired it with a scrap roof section from a 57 and some plastic strip for the drip rails. I'll be tuned into this build. Later-
  13. Nice work on the stance. Can't wait to see what you do with the paint. Later-
  14. Thanks for the response. That build looks amazing! Great job. Later-
  15. That looks very nice Cruz! I love this car and, although the kit is inaccurate, I still bought one and intend to get a couple more. Your paint looks fabulous. Later-
  16. Beautiful work on this one! I have always love this car. When they came out I spent many hours looking them over at the dealership. I have one to build but never thought of building it in this color scheme. What brand and color of red did you use for the interior? I love it. Later-
  17. It definitely is more green. Not at all what the sticker on the cap looks like. It was disappointing when I first shot it but decided to go with it anyway. I've been getting a lot of the small stuff done on this one. From the parts box I installed the taillights and a side mirror. I also installed a knob on the steering wheel.(what my Mom always called a necker knob). Finished up the grill and pieced together the bed. Been working on the engine lately. Pictures to come when I get back to work. Later-
  18. Like always, I had an idea and decided to run with it before finishing my current project, of which I am working on the engine and have a lot more of the small details finished. (I WILL finish soon.). I thought this 84 Square body Chevy needed a bit of shape so I set off to widen the fenders before I begin the work on scratchbuilding a lowered frame. It's kind of difficult in the photos to see how it looks but it doesn't look too bad. I started by cutting the tops of the fenders and then adding some extra plastic. Later-
  19. Looks really smooth Jim. Looks like it will be a useful tool. Later-
  20. Wow Kurt! That turned out beautifully. I would hope with results like this you would do more Street Rods. It's amazing work. Later-
  21. Got two sets of beautiful tires from Scenes Unlimited yesterday. Their T18 and T22 sets. The T 22's will be going on my Raptor. Not sure what I'll be putting the T18's on yet. I'll be ordering more from them soon. Later-
  22. While working on this this morning I set the body and frame aside and then noticed this... Looks like the start of a 29 COE pickup. Hhmmm. Ideas.... Later-
  23. Thanks Sam. The interior panels are cut from the aluminum freshness seal from my 3 lb coffee can at work. I've been saving them for a while and finally had a use for them. Later-
  24. More progress today. Got the frame up on wheels and the interior put together minus the shifter. Finding a set of seats small enough to fit in that tiny body was a bear. Still need to try to snuggle the body down a bit more on the frame. I'm managing to thin out some areas of my parts boxes. Later-
