  1. Kool, Comrade Ken I had an East German camera (Practica) that worked about as well as a Trabant.
  2. I don't even know HOW to put an avatar on the site. Everytime I try, nothing happens. Same with emodelcars, won't work for me.
  3. Dave, you can also try contacting Holz Chevrolet in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. They sell promos and have a huge car show on the 4th of July where they sell older promos for cheap money. You should bring your Vette up for the day. Hales Corners is a suburb of Milwaukee.
  4. I had collected Collectible Automobile, Hemming's Classic car, Sports and Exotics and Muscle Machine lines of magazine but I sent them to Iraq and Afghanistan as well as my model mag collection. I collect Soviet items and have pins with Lenin, a 50 Ruble note, a pin for a soccer team in Moscow. A book on Soviet grade and highschools. Small pen knives with adverts on them.
  5. Sweet 15? I think most people here know them as Quinceineras, that is if one is familiar with latino culture. It's sort of a coming out party for young ladies. Don't know about the camera, though.
  6. Nice pics, but why so many of that 32 Bantam in the first post?
  7. His style ought to be right at home on a NASCAR board. I miss him, too.
  8. As a customer of two large independent LHSs, I sure hope that this does not bite them. I prefer buying something I can touch rather than online, and with shipping and handling costs involved, I think the well stocked LHS is still supreme. I have bought from HobbyLink Japan just to get something not available to me locally. (260Z 2+2)
  9. The 50 bed is not a direct match. The 55 and up to 58 bed is what you want. I think the chevy used a V8 as well. GMC used Pontiac V8s in their line up in those years. I think!
  10. That car is like the station wagon I used to own. i wouldn't make a ragtop out of it. I'd keep it a four door. Wish I could find one.
  11. You will need a 66 Marlin Kit, I think I have a body laying around to fix that pillar problem. The Marlin shared the same front sheet metal and general body shape , except for the roof of course. The Johan 69 SC/Rambler prostreet is a completely different body shape and size. The car you have is a full size and the Scrambler is a mid size or compact. I don't see anything wrong with the fenders, tho. Email me.
  12. Lindberg manufactures it's kits in the US, I just wonder if they do win the bid if they will bring the AMT tooling back to the US?
  13. How is this any different than what goes on with Wal-Mart? They undercut the LHSs as well and remember, not everyone has a Tower Hobby nearby, I sure don't.
  14. Usually I can snipe the best stuff on weekends at two in the morning. I think some people may be out on the town or on holiday or "sleeping it off".
  15. I posted before on this but I was deleted. Cool cars from down under. Milwaukee used to have an indoor midget track in the auditorium downtown.
  16. They were half yours, dude , and you only used the tips.
  17. I saw the parts layout at the Milwaukee NNL this weekend last and all I can say is i am quite impressed with this kit. The extra parts alone make it worth while to purchase.
  18. Which explains why you see so many GM cars of that vintage pealing right down to the primer.
  19. $59 for two years? A dollar more per year than the single year sub? Hmmmm.
  20. NUTZ! I was just on your web site looking at the Firebird III, and I see it isn't available yet. Darn, darn, double gosh darn!
  21. Will my PC blow up if this goes to 11? You saw Spinal Tap in concert? I thought they were a fictional band.
