  1. The 50 bed is not a direct match. The 55 and up to 58 bed is what you want. I think the chevy used a V8 as well. GMC used Pontiac V8s in their line up in those years. I think!
  2. That car is like the station wagon I used to own. i wouldn't make a ragtop out of it. I'd keep it a four door. Wish I could find one.
  3. You will need a 66 Marlin Kit, I think I have a body laying around to fix that pillar problem. The Marlin shared the same front sheet metal and general body shape , except for the roof of course. The Johan 69 SC/Rambler prostreet is a completely different body shape and size. The car you have is a full size and the Scrambler is a mid size or compact. I don't see anything wrong with the fenders, tho. Email me.
  4. Lindberg manufactures it's kits in the US, I just wonder if they do win the bid if they will bring the AMT tooling back to the US?
  5. How is this any different than what goes on with Wal-Mart? They undercut the LHSs as well and remember, not everyone has a Tower Hobby nearby, I sure don't.
  6. Usually I can snipe the best stuff on weekends at two in the morning. I think some people may be out on the town or on holiday or "sleeping it off".
  7. I posted before on this but I was deleted. Cool cars from down under. Milwaukee used to have an indoor midget track in the auditorium downtown.
  8. They were half yours, dude , and you only used the tips.
  9. I saw the parts layout at the Milwaukee NNL this weekend last and all I can say is i am quite impressed with this kit. The extra parts alone make it worth while to purchase.
  10. Which explains why you see so many GM cars of that vintage pealing right down to the primer.
  11. $59 for two years? A dollar more per year than the single year sub? Hmmmm.
  12. NUTZ! I was just on your web site looking at the Firebird III, and I see it isn't available yet. Darn, darn, double gosh darn!
  13. Will my PC blow up if this goes to 11? You saw Spinal Tap in concert? I thought they were a fictional band.
  14. Look at this site for the Hurst version. http://hurstjeepster.com/
  15. Although a nice kit, the engine is wrong. It is a hold over from the Kaiser Jeep and is a Buick V6. Kaiser called it a Dauntless V6. The AMC version with the Ford style front grille, used their 258 I6 and the 304 V8. Some V6 Commandos may have been made by AMC but I am not sure. The earlier style front end Kaiser version also had a Hurst version which was carried over to AMC. It was white and had a Rebel Machine style scoop on its hood.
  16. This is a great post. I like to see this kind of description even though Ferrari cars are not my favorite...uh...OK...I like the older ones; there! I said it. I think this car looks like a Vette, too.
  17. Really great review. Looks like I'll have to pull that one out of the closet and check it out. Mine's the first issue, so maybe the plastic won't be as soft as yours. Thanks for the heads up on the emblem fit and other issues.
  18. Finally, a Monster Truck without the cartoon front end I so much hate. I like my trucks to look like trucks, not lizards or skulls or whatever. But then again, I ain't 5.
  19. Looking forward to seeing you there. I'll be behind the table counting votes.
  20. Ie lyk to spelz gud. Make ezyer to reed letter. I jus wisch theez ireetating red lyns wood go away. I now go pound rox!
  21. I gotta go with the Volvo P1800, especially the ES wagon.
