  1. I'm sure this is just a straight reissue right now, is there any chance of releasing a GLHS version in the future? Looks like it would mostly just need new wheels/tires, intake assembly/intercooler, and decals.
  2. It would be nice if they would at least update the cab and interior to a newer model year!
  3. Not sure if this is the most recent Fireball thread, but looks like he is going to have a Patreon, I’m guessing possibly for early access to new parts via STL files?
  4. As mentioned in the other Round 2 thread, Stevens International is showing the MPC 1986 Shelby Charger kit as coming out soon. I’m excited since I’ve never been able to find this in person or for a decent price! I am going to guess they won’t, but it would be cool if they included the parts to make a GLHS version!
  5. I use this hardware organizer for most of my spare parts. For my tires, I saw someone else use this thread spool holder from the craft store and got one for myself! For my wheels, most just end up in a tub since I seem to enjoy fishing through to find the wheels I want to use!
  6. I think Revell really needs to utilize their new tooling and make a few more versions, like a 5.0 hatch and GT. I know they have the 1/24 convertible and Cobra kits in their vault, but the coupe tooling is fresh and crisp!
  7. I know they are different scales, but has anyone tried using the headlight buckets/lenses from the Revell/Monogram kits on the AMT '88 GT kit?
  8. It looks like the Monogram version was a light detail snap kit vs the full detail MPC kit. Interestingly though, Monogram did also have a snap kit of the 80s Daytona as well, would be cool to see that!
  9. It would be cool if they included the GLHS wheels/tires and decals as well!
  10. Another one I thought of today, a good kit of a third gen Camaro. Other than some aspects of the 1/25 Revell original, and the 1/24 ex-Arii kit, there are no good looking 3rd gen kits in the 1/25 scale area. All the others have bad proportions or just look toylike. It would be cool to see something on par with Revell’s 1990 Mustang LX kit!
  11. I just remembered that some time ago Hasegawa made a 1/12 version that now goes for crazy money on eBay, I wonder if they still have those molds available or if they were lost to time?
  12. What year would you consider the start of the kouki period for this car? I know it's used for the Z31 but I haven't seen it used in regards to the Z32. In any case, this looks like it will be a nice kit! I'm assuming it's a curbside since there's no engine pic, but it's nice to see the window masks and taillight mask decal! It will be interesting to see how it compares to the Tamiya kit, though that one is a 2+0 version and not the 2+2 like this one.
  13. Honestly if the Monogram kit didn’t have the weird oversize wheels and better tires, then it would be a perfect kit. Luckily Fireball has several great options now that would work for it!
  14. Looks cool! Those wheels go well with the stance, gives it a bit of a sleeper look!
  15. I just noticed on there too that Monogram once had a 1/20 scale version of the CJ7, I wonder if those molds are still floating around (along with the ones for the 1/16 scale kit)?
  16. The original box that I see on scalemates doesn’t mention anything about multiple versions, so if it is that one they would at least be adding parts maybe?
  17. Expensive option is to modify the one from the Tamiya Wrangler. Moderate to possibly expensive option is have one 3d printed. Cheapest option is to modify a GM in-line 6 to look like an AMC engine.
  18. Yeah I'm hoping they don't wimp out and just go for another snap kit like some of their past subjects (Ford Raptor, 6th gen Mustang).
  19. Looks like Revell will be bringing back the 2wd Street Pickup again! I wonder if they will change any contents, or just the decals?
  20. Looks like Revell will releasing the half-cab Bronco solo this year!
  21. Looks like the 1980 Dually kit may be returning soon! Wonder what changes, if any, will be made to it?
  22. Looks like this kit will be coming back soon! This site incorrectly shows it as 1/25 scale. It normally has been sold as a 2n1 kit, I wonder if the 3n1 is a typo?
  23. Hopefully the Corvette is a full detail kit!
  24. That would be a cool idea for the aftermarket, especially with the recent release of the half cab 1st gen Bronco!
  25. You could probably use the one from the current AMT 1981 GMC 4x4 kit. You will probably need to shave where it attaches to the bumper, but the overall profile will work.
