  1. Yeah after doing a quick Google search for "1963 slide in camper" I don't see anything that looks close to the kit camper. However, what I wouldn't give to have one of these for real! ?
  2. I know you’re probably talking older trucks, but I am hoping Round 2 will rerelease the 90s Ram 2500/3500 kits since they were willing to bring back the snap 90s Chevy kits!
  3. Yup the engine bay confirms this is the Ex-Monogram kit.
  4. The post also said that it will be coming out Q2 of this year!
  5. One thing I found with it is don't be afraid when it looks to be coating light at first. Just keep hitting it until you have a good coat, it rarely ever runs on me unless I'm overspraying trying to get a nook or cranny covered!
  6. Honestly, depends for me. I can't recommend enough Home Depot's Quick Color satin black for example. It is cheap ($1-2 a can last I checked), lasts me a while, and consistently sprays on great.
  7. You could use the engine from either of the s10 kits from Revell (1st gen) or AMT (2nd gen). The 1st gen would be more accurate for what you are looking for, but the 2nd gen engine could be used if someone wants to make a newer version with the dually grille (the intake would need to be modified). Edit: I'm not sure if the current S10 release has the stock engine parts, or if it only has the Syclone parts.
  8. They just need to use the James Bont license!
  9. Great build! I love the way you changed the overscaled wheels to look more like modern 20" wheels!
  10. Do the mods have the ability to still edit the title on behalf of users?
  11. Not quite, both were originally available at the same time. I believe the long bed chassis was actually modified for the short bed/stepside kits.
  12. Yeah, decals are one of the areas where they are east to add value to a kit for cheap. Luckily it looks like they have been increasing the decal amount in other kits, so hopefully they continue that here too!
  13. I mean it’s the Silverado trim, so they are partially correct!
  14. The wide body for the Charger is really just large fender flares, which wouldn’t really need body modification to attach.
  15. You're in luck actually, I believe they will be rereleasing that kit sometime this year.
  16. The look doesn’t matter, all Chargers RT and up use 20” wheels. Regardless, it is a good looking kit and I am down for at least one!
  17. Agreed, especially if you compare it to the box picture in the video thumbnail!
  18. Agreed! They could just call it a GMC Vandura Street Van.
  19. Since the Revell-o-gram Bronco is also being rereleased, and it being an '80-'81, it is good that the MPC kit will be an '82+ version.
  20. The cowl hood is from the custom phantom dually version. Funny enough, I also got a cowl hood in an opened stepside kit, albeit mine was from eBay.
  21. Not sure if the actual trucks were different, but it looks like in the 1998 brochure, the passenger airbags were standard for all trucks starting that year. Also, I forgot that 1997 was the first year they had them available.
  22. Steve, is there any chance of updating the interior in the future to the '98-'99 dash with the passenger airbag? Also, I know you may not be able to answer this, but is there any possibility of the '95/'96 Tahoe returning anytime soon?
  23. Box Art is weird, but I wonder if they are including the wheels/tires from the original AMT F-150 Styleside kit (rather than the ones from the Lindberg kit)? Lindberg originals: AMT originals (not these ones specifically, but the same style):
  24. It's possible they can't find all the original tooling, but they are probably combining the work they are doing for the C1500 short bed kit with this to make a "modified new tool" to give some more detail and additional parts.
