I have used their paint a few times and it sprays excellent, I can spray a decently heavy coat before it even thinks of running, and the nozzle is very nice. I have used a white base coat underneath to help it pop a bit more. -
Is there a chance we could get a dark theme option for this site? I've come to appreciate it on other sites since it's not as blinding for my eyes, and then coming back here is like going out in the sun without sunglasses! ?

“Gall darn it, what is with this bonnet and boot talk?” ? -
@SteveG Are the Chevy pieces still around, or was the S10 kit converted to the Sonoma kit? Also, any chance of bringing back the S10 Blazer 2dr kit?

Do you also have 1:1 project cars?
Jordan White replied to ctruss53's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
My wife and I’s 1:1 project! 1975 Ford F250 Highboy with a 390! Plans for now are to fix the flatbed, update the interior, tune up and change fluids, replace body mounts, and give it a quick spray paint! -
This is one subject (especially the newer G-Wagens) that I am surprised has not had a new tool made! =

Would be my guess! -
Looks good! I think if you did a thin black or charcoal stripe on the border between the orange and white, it would help it pop a bit more!

Love watching these large scale builds! I am pretty sure they package them like they do so you are "forced" to keep buying the monthly packs (if not going the full purchase route like you did).

Ah, then disregard my remark! ? Any thoughts on what you will paint orange on the body?

Oof you made the same mistake I did on the rear suspension, not attaching the brake rotors before the suspension arms. You will have to trim them back if you want the brake rotors to sit properly! They definitely could have done a better job designing how it all goes together!

AMT 1/25 2021 Bronco First Edition
Jordan White replied to Jordan White's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I know the First Edition was a limited production run, so they probably didn't want to bother adding it to the brochure since they advertised it so heavily back then. -
The main differences are the model (363 V in this kit, 361 V in the El Camino kit), and with that the cabin layout. This one has the dual windshield cockpit, while the other one only had a single windshield cockpit. The ski rack has been included in the Bronco kit in the past, and you are correct that they are snow skis.

One thing I found with it is don't be afraid when it looks to be coating light at first. Just keep hitting it until you have a good coat, it rarely ever runs on me unless I'm overspraying trying to get a nook or cranny covered!
-
Honestly, depends for me. I can't recommend enough Home Depot's Quick Color satin black for example. It is cheap ($1-2 a can last I checked), lasts me a while, and consistently sprays on great.

You could use the engine from either of the s10 kits from Revell (1st gen) or AMT (2nd gen). The 1st gen would be more accurate for what you are looking for, but the 2nd gen engine could be used if someone wants to make a newer version with the dually grille (the intake would need to be modified). Edit: I'm not sure if the current S10 release has the stock engine parts, or if it only has the Syclone parts.

They just need to use the James Bont license!
